*** Now that everyone knows about the new baby coming later in The year , the kids are more attentive to their moms , they know that Carina has less and less energy than before as she is getting older and being pregnant when you are considered a GERIATRIC PATIENT ... isn't all rainbows and sunshine!!

Carina: hrmmmm owwwwww ! Babeeeeeeee ! Ahhhhhhh !
Maya: what is going on? Are you okay?
Carina: No I'm not okay.... But something is not right... ** she than began to over think this whole pregnancy journey at FOURTY years old **

Maya: okay breathe .... Describe the pain you are in my love!
Carina: okay it's extremely painful and it's in my sides .... Both.... It's like I'm being stabbed from the INSIDE!! I'm scared... like legit scared!
Maya: okay..... I'm here for you and you tell me what you want to do, if you want me to ...
Carina: yea ... let's go to the hospital NOW! Because even though everything looks good on the monitors.... I've never felt anything like this before babe! Call my brother so he can take care of the kids!! Ahhhhhhh ! I'll go get ready! ** she usually monitor the baby with her tank top she wears to sleep and with a pair of underwear **
Ahhhhhhhhhh !!! What the fuck is this pain?? ** she really didn't care about what she was wearing so she grabbed a sweat shirt and some sweat pants and put on slip on winter boots! **

Maya: okay everything is going to be okay, Andrew is coming over now, the kids are all ready to go to school... don't worry we will figure out what is going on and we will find solutions so you are no longer in pain !
Carina: okay! Thank youuu so much for being here by my side !

**5 minutes later Andrew comes in the driveway and takes over the kids as his big sister is clearly in pain she can't even talk ... Maya and Carina both wave goodbye and reassure the kids that everything is going to be okay!!!**

Maya: there's no where else I'll rather be then with you my love!

** Maya helped Carina get in the car and headed straight to the grey's Sloan emergency doors !! They called Addison on the way and she was waiting for Carina there **

Addison: okay Carina... I've got you.... We are going to do a series of tests .. everything is going to be fine!!
Carina: okay but I'm legit scared and only 12 weeks going on 13 weeks pregnant.... Fuck I knew it wasn't a good idea to do it again.. why did I think it was okay? I'm FOURTY YEARS OLD and all I wanted was to get pregnant again because all of my children are growing up and i couldn't accept the fact that my last baby is now three years old... I always have to put myself in danger....

**she couldn't help but to blame herself for being in excruciating pain at 13 weeks... she couldn't stop crying..... Maya was there by her side holding her hands and reassuring her wife !!she's never seen her in THIS MUCH PAIN EARLY ON IN THE PREGNANCY!! **

** Carina is now in a hospital bed and she is quickly hooked up to all sort of monitors.. for the baby and for herself... **
Addison: okay Carina.... As you can see your heart rate is doing really good... and look at this specific corner!
Carina: what? Just tell me if I'm miscarrying I don't want to look..
** Addison had to step out of the room to help a nurse with a patient **
Addison: ohh excuse me for a minute... I'm going to be right back

Maya and Carina: okay thank you!

Carina: babe I'm sorry.... Please forgive me ...
Maya: okay calm down.... Take deep breath with me , why are you apologizing? You did nothing wrong my love...
Carina: siiii I know , but I'm never content with what we have 5 perfect and growing healthy children, two adorable teenagers who we have been chosen to take care of forever.. and I just think I can do everything —- why can't I just be grateful for the perfect children we already have?
Maya: babe, shhhhh ... everything is going to be okay... we will continue doing what we are doing... I'm never going to leave your side !
Carina: okay... please sit with me for the rest of the appointment...
Maya: okay...

Addison: so sorry about that..
Carina, don't beat yourself up ... you are in excellent health and you always have been. You are not a smoker or heavy drinker...
**Carina cries and cries **
Ohhhhhhh kayyyyy, but why am I feeling like I'm being stabbed?? It never happened before.... Except when I got kicked twice in the stomach and then realized that I was carrying twins , well actually the triplets....
Ohhhh shiiiiit , please tell me I'm not carrying multiples again!
Addison: everything is fine.. you are having one baby.... Keep monitoring yourself at home and I'd love to do weekly appointments !
Maya: okay excellent!
Carina: okay perfect, can you come over to the house... I'd really really love to get out of the house for minimal time...
Addison: ohhh absolutely... I've heard you have quite the set up there ,
Carina: yes we do, okay so we are going to see each other next week?
Addison: yes , I'm putting you on absence leave again...
Carina: okay excellent! We can make it work with the money I have saved up
Maya : and I can work from home! I'm now a nine one one operator so it's easier for us all!
Addison: okay that's wonderful!!! I'm happy for your new job Maya !
Don't worry about it.., you are going to get through this.. take many many naps as you can , I'd say monitor your pregnancy with the monitor for three hours every day.. do it at night too if it helps you be reassured!
Carina: okay thank you so much Addison!!
Addison: you are welcome!!

** Maya and Carina headed back home from the hospital and Carina immediately took her sweatshirt and sweatpants off , and only had her tank top on with her underwear and got under the bed sheetS , Maya helped out with putting all the little stickers where they needed to be and kissed her courageous wife **
