Here she is.

On a date.

With Varian.

Cassandra is feeling a mixture of emotions. This makes everything real. Well, okay... their first kiss made everything real. But this? This makes it really real. She is nervous. She is terrified. She can barely believe she is doing this.

But she plans on shoving all of those negative feelings aside. She is going to give this date her all, and truly determine whether or not she and Varian are meant to be.

At the moment, the two of them are strolling through the cobblestone streets of Arendelle. She spent a few years here, back when she was a guard for Queen Anna. But she was too focused on her work at the time. She didn't really explore much of what leisure activities the kingdom has to offer.

"I thought our first stop could be this bakery Kristoff told me about," Varian says. "He said they have the best krumkaker."

"Hold on," Cassandra says. "A bakery?" She doesn't go to bakeries. Someone might see her. She has never wanted anyone to know about her secret sweet tooth.

"Yeah," Varian replies with a smirk. "You still enjoy sweets, don't you?"

"Still? What makes you think I ever did?"

"Come on Cass, I've known about your secret love of sweets since before you left Corona."

Once again, Cassandra is stunned by how well Varian knows her. "So, we're having dessert before supper?"

"Yep. I like to live on the edge."

     "Uh-huh. Sounds like Rapunzel's influence."

Varian laughs. "It may be a habit she and I share."

As the two of them enter the bakery, hand in hand, the sugary aroma immediately reaches Cassandra's nostrils and causes her mouth to water

As the two of them enter the bakery, hand in hand, the sugary aroma immediately reaches Cassandra's nostrils and causes her mouth to water. Varian orders some krumkaker for them, and once the baker hands the desserts to him they take a seat at a small, round table.

"You know, I've never had a krumkake before," Varian says, observing the cookie closely.

"I've had them plenty of times," Cassandra says. "They're Queen Anna's favorite dessert, so they're at every banquet. She's practically made it mandatory that everyone in the kingdom eat them. Although, I've never tried them from this particular bakery."
