Varian and Cassandra follow the men deeper into the forest. Varian isn't the best at being stealthy, but he tries to imitate Cassandra. He knows she's had plenty of practice in that area.

He is having to force his brain to remain focused on the task at hand, because all he wants to think about is what Cassandra said in the pub. He will never be able to tell her how much what she did means to him. He knows it was extremely difficult for her, being in front of a crowd like that, but she did it anyway.

     Because she loves him.

A fact that will never stop amazing him.

But here he is thinking about it again! Focus, Varian, focus... he tells himself, as she presses back against a tree to remain unseen. He copies her pose as much as possible.

"This must be their camp," Cassandra whispers, pointing to the tents set up around a meadow in front of them

"This must be their camp," Cassandra whispers, pointing to the tents set up around a meadow in front of them. "I bet they've been staying here to keep an eye out for—"

Behind them, in the forest, Varian hears the faint sound of a woman humming. "That must be Divya! Do you think it's about to happen?"

"Must be," Cassandra says. "So that means Kaspar should show up any second now."

As if on cue, a familiar pink light emanates from nearby. Varian and Cassandra turn to see Infinity's portal has appeared, and Kaspar emerges from it at the ready. "I'm coming, Divya!"

Before Divya can hear or see him, Cassandra rushes at Kaspar and puts him in a headlock

Before Divya can hear or see him, Cassandra rushes at Kaspar and puts him in a headlock. But to her surprise, he remains grounded and balanced. He escapes the headlock, flipping her backwards.

Before Kaspar can run, Varian tosses a sphere of his raccoon trap at his feet. The man's legs are encased in the pink goo, and he is unable to move.

"What the...?" Kaspar struggles, but it's no use. "Who are you?!"

"Kaspar?" The commotion having caught her attention, Divya stares with curious caution at her husband and the two strangers.
