Class time finally came, Sky and I headed off to English while Flic filled up her water bottle only to join us later- Aquilla walked off to her english class a few classrooms down. It was a busy lesson, Flic sat to the left of me and Sky to the right. I was right in the middle of changing pages to a new page for our page long TEEL paragraph when Flic decided it was the best time for a little chat. "I saw what you did when she moved closer to you at lunch" she whispered. "I did what?" I whispered in her ear back, trying to deny it. "Oh come on! I saw the way you tensed up, the way you blush everytime you see her, i still remember the first day she walked in. You went bright red makayla don't lie!" Flic whispered back, part amused part serious. "Is it really that bad?" I asked as I ruled a line in my book and put away my ruler. Not wanting to get caught for talking anymore she smiled cheekily and nodded.

By second lunch it had actually warmed up from 12°C to 18°C. Turns out all of our teachers let us go early because we finished our work, A.K.A a page and a half of hand written TEEL paragraph. Today also had to be an solar eclipse and not just any, the first in a hundred years to happen with all the planets to lined up. Three months later the same thing will happen but with a lunar eclipse- how bizarre. Anyway the eclipse was supposed to start at 1:00pm, it was 1:10pm, the time for lunch. The sun was about to start to fully hide the moon when a huge flash of light came off the eclipse and straight for our eyes. Instantly we raised our hands to shield our eyes as the bells chime faded away.

After about a minute I moved my hands away, expecting to see everyone chilling, having lunch. Except there was no one. It was so quiet, so quiet you could hear everything for kilometres-quiet. No-one. "Where is everyone! Maybe at the big shed, or tuckshop waiting for the eclipse?" Aquilla said while she frantically searched herself to see if anything was missing, when finally satisfied she looked around at us. "Yeah but wouldn't it be put in the notices or either they wouldve told us last lesson" I shouted as I started picking up my pace, walking to the tuckshop.
