It is now the volgede day. Sarah and Lyanna both have to get up early to leave for school again. Lyanna had texted Sarah this morning that she wanted to talk to her after her last class. Sarah agreed, but she thought it was a little strange. But she did agree and told Lyanna to meet her at her classroom at 3:30. Lyanna was fine with it. When Sarah arrived at school, she walked in. When she was inside, she ran into Hailey and Ellie. She didn't want to be the bad guy, so she said hi and then just walked on. She walked to her classroom and set up her things. She still had a little time, because she did get there early, so she texted with a few people. As class began, the students noticed that Sarah was distracted. She was not herself. But they didn't dare say anything because she might get angry and they didn't feel like it. After class, Lyanna and Sarah had recess. Even though they had agreed to meet after school, they still talked to each other briefly during the break. It just wasn't yet about the things Lyanna wanted to talk about. They just had a nice conversation about their first hour and the stories of their colleagues they heard. Sarah and Lyanna still feel that connection between them. Attraction is real. But Lyanna is bothered by something. And it's holding her back a lot. She feels she has to tell Sarah.
"Sarah I need to tell you something. And you shouldn't freak out so sit down," Lyanna said. "Lyanna you scare me. What is going on?", Sarah asks. "Please sit down and I'll tell you", Lyanna said. "I'm already sitting down," Sarah said. "Okay stay calm. Your husband said something to me while I was with you and while you were away. And I think you should know," Lyanna said. "Don't make me wait any longer, just tell me," Sarah said. "Your husband tried to flirt with me. But I said I wasn't interested and that he shouldn't cheat," Lyanna said. "He? He tried to flirt with you? I almost crying. How did he do that? And still with you. I just don't know what hurts more. I do know that, by the way. Him flirting with you, you're mine not his," Sarah said. "Sure Sarah, that's why I rejected him. Don't worry," Lyanna said.
Even though Lyanna said not to worry, she still did. This was the straw. She wanted a divorce from her husband. But moments later, she thought about her family again. She is just in doubt. She wants to be happy herself, but can you be happy if your children are not feeling well? She grants herself the joy less than her children. To her own cost. And that pain is hurting Sarah a lot and she feels like no one sees that. Like there's no one there to take care of her. Sarah also wants to feel good about herself. Not just the people around her, but her as well. She grants herself the joy less than her children. To her own cost. And that pain is hurting Sarah a lot and she feels like no one sees that. Like there's no one there to take care of her. Sarah also wants to feel good about herself. Not just the people around her, but her as well. The role she assumes as a mother, wife, girlfriend, friend and colleague is different from what she actually wants to be. She wants to be more herself with the people she loves.
"Sarah? Sarah," Lyanna said. "Oh sorry, I was kind of dreaming away. Were you telling me something?", Sarah asks. "Nothing important. I'm going to my classroom, I'll talk to you again next break," Lyanna said. "Okay see you then," Sarah said.
Sarah's thoughts go everywhere. It goes from did I do something wrong to did I need to say something. She spontaneously feels so different. And she probably knows the cause of that. Her husband's flirting. And surely that has done more to her than she expected. Not necessarily the pain, but the jealousy. She became insecure because of two people. She hasn't been that insecure in so long, she didn't know it was so super bad. She just needed someone to help her. Who could listen to her stories. A person who could make her feel better for a while. And at exactly that moment, Avery walked in.
"Do you have a minute?", Avery asked. "Yeah sure. What is it?", Sarah asks. "Well it's like this. I have a feeling you're not feeling very well. And I just talked to Lyanna and she feels the same way, but she doesn't know how to help you. But I do know, talk and don't stop until the bell rings," Avery said.
