By the end of the day, Sarah is devastated, but happy. Lyanna made her day better after all. After their last lesson they met for a while. To chat some more. They talk nicely and have a great time. They are laughing and talking about all kinds of things. But it gets ruined at one point. Because the subject of Ellie and Hailey comes up.

"Did you teach Ellie and Hailey today?" asks Lyanna. "I had their first lesson today. So I didn't see them again," Sarah says. "I have them again on Friday. So they don't bother me anymore. Will you have them tomorrow or Thursday?" asks Lyanna. " Yes of course. Last period tomorrow," Sarah said. "I bet they like that a lot. Their class is very intense last period though. Take care," Lyanna said. "I think you'll be all right, Lyanna. They were a little afraid of me this morning. So I don't think much will happen. I think they will be very noisy tomorrow. They were this morning and most teenagers are half asleep by then," Sarah said. "That's right. The class is not that big, but it has way too much energy. I don't know why," Lyanna said. "It doesn't matter. I'm not looking forward to this class, but I'll be fine. And if not, I can always talk to Leah about the class. She is a mentor for the class, after all," Sarah said. "You should really talk to Leah if it gets too intense. Otherwise it will just get worse and Leah can really do something about it," Lyanna said. "I know Lyanna. But I want to do something about it myself before I ask Leah," Sarah said. "I understand that. Just think about it. I have meetings in a minute, so I have to get ready. Talk to you later," Lyanna said. "Wait. Maggie was talking about you coming over again to help her with her Dutch homework. You're welcome to come tonight, but if it's not a good time I can tell her," Sarah said. "Just tell her I'll come tonight," Lyanna said. "Thanks Lyanna, you are the best," Sarah said. "No problem, Sarah," Lyanna said.

Sarah was going to finish some things for tomorrow's class and then prepare some things for the meetings. It wasn't a lot so she could take it easy.  After all the meetings, it was five o'clock. They ended up meeting longer than they had planned. While Sarah was still in her classroom tidying up, she heard someone calling her name. When she looked to see who it was, she saw Taylor standing in the doorway.

"Hey Sarah, I wanted to tell you something. Well actually ask you something," Taylor said. "Oh hey Taylor, what's up?" asked Sarah. "I heard you got divorced, I feel really bad for you. But I heard from someone that you're in a relationship with Lyanna now. Is that true?" asks Taylor. "Who did you hear that from?" asks Sarah. "I heard it from two girls in my class and they heard it from someone else," Taylor says. "Okay, I have to kill two girls. But what you heard is true. Please don't tell anyone. It's still very new," Sarah said. "Your secret is safe with me. And if they start talking about it again, I will stop them," Taylor said. "Thank you, you are a hero," Sarah said.

Sarah was angry. No, not angry, but furious. She could do something to those two girls. And besides, she knew who those two girls were. Obviously they were Ellie and Hailey. She didn't know how, but she had to teach them a lesson. And not about French this time. She just couldn't think of a reason why they would tell anyone. Sarah thought maybe they lacked attention, but that's not how you do it. In any case, Sarah didn't think it was very good of them to have told anyone about it. But then again, they hadn't talked to Ellie and Hailey either. That's probably why they thought it would be better to tell people now instead of waiting until after all the talk. But she had to put it behind her for now and just go home. She got into the car and sat quietly for a while. And just as she was about to drive away, Lyanna called out to her.

"Did you hear? They know. Taylor said two girls from another class also know. Sarah, we're screwed," Lyanna said in a panic. "Calm down Lyanna, everything will be fine. Breathe in, breathe out. Just take it easy. Today at 7:30 at my house. Okay?" said Sarah. "Okay, Sarah. I'll see you then. I'm going to take it easy for a while," Lyanna said. "See you soon," Sarah said.

Sarah started the car and drove off. Home, that's all she really wanted right now. When she got home, Maggie was waiting for her. Usually Maggie was very cheerful, but this time she wasn't. She was holding something in her hand. Sarah couldn't quite make out what it was. Sarah didn't know what was happening. She didn't understand any of it. Why was Maggie acting so strange all of a sudden? She tried to think of a reason why she was acting like this, but she couldn't think of one.

"Maggie what is going on? Did something happen? Tell me," Sarah said.  "Mom, I think you need to explain something to me," Maggie said.
