"Jesus Avery. How did this happen?" said Lyanna. "I don't know either. I thought you and Sarah weren't close anymore. I didn't expect her to come around all of a sudden," Avery said. "Oh no, Sarah is so angry now. What am I going to do? She wanted to marry me, Avery. She wanted to spend her life with me. And then she saw me in bed with you. Why did I ever do that?" says Lyanna. "Maybe because you like me better," Avery says. "Avery, I can't do this. I need to be alone for a while. Can you please go?" says Lyanna. "Sure. Call me if you need me," Avery says.
Avery left as soon as she could after this conversation. Lyanna was devastated. She felt so bad. Why did she do this? She genuinely likes Sarah very much, yet she went to Sarah's ex girlfriend for support. She felt so awful doing this to Sarah. She went downstairs to the kitchen. When she saw what was going on there, she cried. There were roses everywhere. On the table there was a note, from Sarah.
"Hey Lyanna. I'm sorry for hurting you with my diary, but you must understand that I'm devastated. I am going through an intense time in my life and you know how to make it worse. How can you do this? Don't look for me. I don't want to see you again. Don't try to justify it. We were never a good match. Bye, Sarah," Sarah wrote.
Lyanna cried so much. She could no longer stand and fell to the floor. Where she lay for the rest of the evening. What she did was so much worse than what Sarah did. Lyanna does not understand herself either. What was going on inside her head? She knows that Avery is Sarah's ex. This is the worst way to hurt Sarah. She started to doubt herself so much. Maybe Sarah wasn't right for her. Maybe she would be better off with someone else. But she has liked Sarah for so long. Surely that's not for nothing. Lyanna still thinks she's a good match for Sarah, but vice versa? Is she a good match for Sarah? She was married to a man before. Maybe she likes men and not women. No, it probably won't be like that. They had so many wonderful evenings together. So many memories. All that with Hailey and Ellie couldn't have been for nothing. Sarah and Lyanna both cried for the rest of the evening. This can't be the end of colleagues to lovers, can it?
The next day was officially Lyanna's day off. But she couldn't stay home, so she decided to go to school anyway. Sarah didn't want to go to school, she just couldn't do it anymore. But she had no other choice. She needed to be there for the kids. So both Sarah and Lyanna went to school. Sarah arrived first at school. She went to the teacher's lounge and got a cup of coffee. She sat down by a table and not so much later, Leah joint her.
"Hey, how is it going?", Leah asks. "What do you know?", Sarah asks. "What do you mean. I just wanted to talk to you. I haven't spoken to you for a while," Leah said. "I just had a big fight with Lyanna and Avery was in the middle of it. So I think you might have heard something from Avery," Sarah said."Okay, you might be right, but I'm just checkin' in to make sure you're okay," Leah said. "Well, I'm not well at all. I feel terrible. Yesterday I was going to propose to Lyanna, but then I found her in bed with Avery. She's such a bitch," Sarah said. "I get it, you're mad at Avery. But do you know why Avery was with Lyanna?" asks Leah. "No, not for sure, but I think she was cheating on me because she was mad at me," Sarah said. "That's not true at all. She wanted to talk to someone to make sure you were okay. Did you know that Lyanna was also going to propose to you?" said Leah. "She could have asked me. Avery doesn't know anything about me, I know how I feel. I know she was planning on proposing," Sarah said. "Perhaps you need to talk to Lyanna about this. I don't want there to be an end to your relationship with Lyanna. You two are perfect for each other. Just think about it. I'll talk to you later," Leah said.
What Leah had said made Sarah think. Maybe Lyanna is the one. Sarah enjoys every second she spends with Lyanna. She doesn't want it to end like this. Sarah ran upstairs. She had to talk to someone. And she didn't like to admit it, but the only people who could help her right now were Hailey and Ellie.
