Sarah walked into the house and when she saw who was talking to her husband, she was in shock.
"Hey Sarah how nice that you are here. I want to introduce you to someone. This is Lyanna, she is our new tutoring teacher for our daughter", her husband said. "Hey Sarah, sorry I didn't tell you about this", Lyanna said. "Oh you guys already know each other. I'm going to make us some tea and then you guys can talk for a while", her husband said.
Sarah her husband leaves for the kitchen to make some tea.
"Lyanna what are you doing here?", Sarah asks. "Well Daisy said to me that she also used to work as a tutor and that she quite liked it. And she said I should give it a try too. So I then signed up with one of those websites and your husband responded. But I didn't know it was him at the time", Lyanna said. "But you know our address right? When he emailed you, you saw our street, right? Then you could have known it was us", Sarah said. "Sorry Sarah. If you want me to leave I'll leave right now", Lyanna said. "No girl. You do have to stay now. But tell me next time Lyanna. I was shocked when I saw you standing there", Sarah said. "I totally get it. Next time I'll tell you. I'm glad you're handling it so well", Lyanna said. "Offcourse. I still like you. You're like my best friend", Sarah said. "Awh how nice. I'm so glad I know you Sarah. I sincerely mean that. You've helped me with so many things", Lyanna said. "And I will always be there for you", Sarah said. And then Sarah her husband arrived with two cups of tea. He set it down on a small table next to the sofa and went back to the kitchen to get the last glass as well. Sarah and Lyanna sat down on the couch with their cup of tea. Then Sarah's husband joined them on a chair.
"So tell me what were you guys talking about? And how do you know each other?", her husband asked. "Oh it's nothing. And we know each other from school", Sarah said. "From school? You were at school together?", her husband asks. "I work at the same school as your wife. I am a Dutch teacher. But recently I've started giving private tutoring", Lyanna said. "How nice. I didn't know she was a colleague of yours Sarah. But then at least you already know her a little bit", said her husband. "We are good friends. She and I are mentoring a class together", Sarah said. "Is she? Well how nice. Should have mentioned that earlier", says her husband. "She's a good teacher, so I think our kids can both learn a lot from her," Sarah said. "I'm really happy about that. When can you start?" her husband asks.
The three talk a little more about the kids and school. Sarah finds out that her husband finds it all very interesting. And Sarah finds that a little strange. Normally he never acts so interested in anything. Or does he really find this so interesting? She is not so sure what to make of this. What she does know is that she doesn't like this. It's not that her husband does find Lyanna very interesting, but more that he's going to be all fun and games with Lyanna. Because she actually still likes Lyanna a lot. But Lyanna knows that too, so she's already talking to Sarah's husband a little less. When it's an hour later, Lyanna leaves again. She had to go home again. She said a last goodbye to everyone and left outside. Sarah walked outside with her for a little while more to talk to her in private.
"Did you also notice that he was acting strange?", Sarah asked. "He was acting really nice yes, but I wouldn't worry about it. Your marriage isn't going so well anyway since you're with me too," Lyanna said. "I know that but still. He wants to leave me too anyway," Sarah said. "So you want to leave him too. Then say so. Give him those divorce papers," Lyanna said. "I just can't do that yet. But if it stays like this any longer, I might have to do it anyway," Sarah said. "Think about it. I'll call you later. Then we'll talk again next week," Lyanna said. "As in a date?", Sarah asks. "If you want to call it that. But I think you were the person who said take it easy first," Lyanna said. "I know, but a date doesn't have to be sexual or involve kissing or anything right away. Unless we say we're ready for that already," Sarah said. "We still talk about it sometimes. I'll call you tomorrow okay," Lyanna said. "Talk to you tomorrow. Have a safe trip back," Sarah said. "Thanks, and you have a good night," Lyanna said. " Goodbye Lyanna," says Sarah said.
