Sarah and Lyanna are very happy together. Since Sarah's children already knew about Lyanna's situation, they weren't at all surprised that she was at their house quite often. It was still a secret at school. Some of her friends know, but most of them don't. As for Hailey and Ellie, the situation hasn't gotten any better. In fact, it got worse. After all, they thought they could fail more because they helped them. But Sarah and Lyanna didn't like that at all. Eventually, other teachers started to notice. It is now one week after the incident with Thomas. It's Monday. Lyanna has to go back to work today for the first time in a week, and she actually finds it quite scary. She still finds it strange to be back in front of the classroom. And Sarah wants to help Lyanna a little anyway, so Sarah takes her to school. In the car, Sarah and Lyanna talked about the day ahead. Lyanna also found out that she has to teach Hailey and Ellie again. That is something she does not like at all. But she wants to get back to work, so she doesn't really have a choice. They walk in together and go to the teachers' lounge. They hang up their coats and Lyanna walks quickly to her classroom because she is late. Sarah talks a bit with the teachers who are already there. When she is done, she goes to finish some work for tomorrow. She is quietly doing some work when someone interrupts her.

"Hi Sarah, can I talk to you for a minute?" the man asks. "Uh, okay. Who are you and what's going on?" asks Sarah. "It's about Thomas, your ex-husband," he says. "Come sit down. What do you want to know?" asks Sarah. "Jackson told us about what happened last week, but I want to know if Thomas has ever done anything like this before," he says. "Has Jackson told you about Thomas? Then you probably don't know much about it. But Thomas has never done anything like this before. A few months before the divorce, he started controlling my life. He wouldn't let me come home late or talk to other men," Sarah said. "I know what Thomas did to Lyanna. I guess I don't know the whole situation, but I know a lot of it. But Thomas was very controlling. But did he ever hit you? Or anything like that?" he asks. "Not that I know of. Why are you asking me this? What do you know that I don't know" Sarah said. "Nothing bad is going on. I just have some questions. I don't know any more than you do," he says. "Oh, okay. Is there anything else you want to know? Lyanna will be here soon and I want to spend the recess with her and not with you, honestly," Sarah said. "Yeah, sure. I want to know one more thing. What was the bond between Thomas and Lyanna?" he asks. "They met through me. Lyanna is my friend and he is my ex, then my husband," Sarah said. "They didn't have a close relationship?" he asks. "Definitely not. They are acquaintances," Sarah said. "I know enough. Thank you for helping Sarah," he said. "How do you know my name?" asks Sarah. "I know things," he says. "Who are you? What's your name?" said Sarah. "Just call me Alex," he says.

After that, he walks away without looking back. He no longer reacts to anything Sarah says. This is a strange situation for her. She has no idea what to do with it at this point in time. A few minutes later the doorbell rang and Lyanna came in. She was glad that Lyanna was back. But she didn't tell her about Alex. She didn't want Lyanna to worry about it. Because Sarah does that enough. They have a great time during the break. The two of them talk, and Avery, Taylor, and Daisy join in later. They don't talk about the shit that happened to all of them. They're just having a conversation that makes no sense. And those are the fun conversations with them. They laugh again. But the break flies by. Everyone except Sarah has to go back to class, and Sarah decides to go home. When she comes home, she is alone. The house is empty. She hasn't had that for a long time. But it didn't stay that way for long, because the doorbell rang. Sarah had no idea who it would be. She wasn't expecting anyone. She went to the door and opened it.

"We need to talk," Leah said. "What's wrong?" asks Sarah. "Did you talk to a man today?" asks Leah. "A strange guest came and sat with me today, you mean him?" asks Sarah. "I guess so. This man is dangerous. What did you tell him?" asks Leah. "He asked me about Thomas," says Sarah. "Call him now," says Leah. "Okay, why?" asks Sarah. "Just do it now," Leah said. "He's not answering," Sarah said. "Oh no, we're too late," Leah said. "What is going on? And what does this guy have to do with my ex-husband?" asks Sarah.
