It's the next day. Sarah is devastated. Luckily she doesn't have to work, but Lyanna does. So they both got up early anyway. Sarah wanted to talk to Lyanna, so she drove her to school. When they arrived at the school, they went to the teachers' lounge together. Sarah got a cup of coffee for Lyanna and herself, and Lyanna hung her coat in her locker. Sarah handed Lyanna the cup of coffee and then Lyanna quickly walked upstairs. Sarah stayed a while to talk to some of the teachers. Lyanna arrived at her class just in time. She got her things ready and began teaching. Lyanna thought it was a busy class, and at 8:30. So the class was busy, but otherwise it went well for Lyanna. At the end of class the students started talking about Avery's classes being canceled. Lyanna knew why, of course, but she enjoyed listening to the students' theories. And then the bell rang. Lyanna stayed in her classroom during recess because she didn't feel like sitting in the teachers' lounge right now. The last time she had been there, they had only talked about the situation with Avery. She didn't want to talk about it again. So that's why she stayed in her classroom to prepare another lesson. But that didn't work out very well, because she was soon interrupted again.
"Hey Lyanna long time no see," Taylor said. "You don't tell me anything so why should I talk to you," Lyanna said. "What the hell is this? Did something happen that I don't know about?", Taylor asks. "Just ask Avery," Lyanna said. "Not Avery again. I didn't know Maggie and Avery had kissed," Lyanna said. "I'm not talking about Maggie. I'm talking about your relationship with Avery. Sarah caught you and you didn't even talk to me anymore. I heard everything from Sarah. Otherwise, I still wouldn't have known now," Lyanna said. "I haven't had time to talk to you about it," Taylor said. "No excuses Taylor. You're one of my best friends and then you do this to me. I don't want to talk to you right now. Leave me alone," Lyanna said. "Please Lyanna I really wanted to tell you," Taylor said. "Get out of here," Lyanna said.
Taylor opened a wound that Lyanna had forgotten about with all the other shit going on. She immediately calls Sarah to tell her everything. Once she tells Sarah the story, though, she is relieved. Sarah makes her feel better. She can concentrate on the rest of the day. The rest of the day goes well, but the classes are full. But the teaching goes well. After her last class, she goes to prepare some things for Monday, because she couldn't do it during the break. Before she starts, she asks Sarah if she can come. She tells her that she still has some work to do, but that she would like to talk to her. So Sarah drove towards Lyanna as fast as she could. Meanwhile, Lyanna took a walk to get rid of as much stress as possible. She walked quietly through the corridors of the school and looked at some of the classrooms. Classes were still in session, so she had to be quiet. Moments later, she returned to her classroom and Sarah was already there. With her coat on and her bag in her hand.
"I'm so glad you're here," Lyanna said. "I'm happy to see you again," Sarah said. "I really missed you," Lyanna said. "You worked six hours, you don't usually miss me that much. What's going on?" asked Sarah. "Come in and I'll tell you everything," Lyanna said. "Oh, okay," Sarah said. "Nothing bad is going on or anything, but I want to tell you," Lyanna said. "You better open this door quick, I want to know about it now, too," Sarah said.
Lyanna opens the door and they walk in together. Sarah puts her things on a table somewhere in the back of the room and then walks to the front. Lyanna is sitting at her desk and Sarah is sitting on the table in front of her desk. Sarah notices that Lyanna is not quite sure where to start.
"Calm down Lyanna. Take your time," Sarah says. "Okay. During the second break, Taylor came in again, but this time with Nova. They started to tell me that I was being unreasonable and that I should forgive Taylor. I didn't dare say anything to them, I froze. They looked at me very frightened and when they finished talking, they walked away laughing," Lyanna said. "How mean! What happened then?" asks Sarah. "They walked away and I didn't dare do anything. I sat in my chair the whole recess, petrified. And I don't know what to do with them. They went crazy," Lyanna said. "First of all, this is not your fault. They backed you into a corner, that's just childish. And secondly, sometimes you have to let friends down. Sometimes it's better for everyone," Sarah said. "That's true. But they supported me for a long time," Lyanna said. "And now they've betrayed you. It's over now," Sarah said. "You're right," Lyanna said. "I know, I'm always right," Sarah said.
Lyanna stands and walks toward Sarah. She puts her arms around her shoulders. And she kisses her. She kisses her passionately.
"You're always there for me, and I'm very grateful," Lyanna says. "I love you so damn much Lyanna Oostra," Sarah said. "I love you even more, Sarah Timmermans," Lyanna said. "Let's go home," Sarah said. "That sounds like a good idea," Lyanna said.
