Colleagues to lovers

Chapter 11

It is now a week and a half later. Lyanna is allowed to work again by the doctor and Sarah is helping Lyanna with everything. Lyanna stayed with Sarah for the first few days because then she could take care of her. But Lyanna wanted to go home after a while, so she went home on Friday afternoon. It is now Thursday. They got a different schedule at school because of problems with other classes. Lyanna and Sarah arrived at school. They go to their colleagues and talk with them.

"Hey Lyanna, are you feeling any better?", Avery asks. "I'm doing a lot better. I just have a headache all the time, though", Lyanna said. "That's very annoying. But I'm glad you get to work again," Avery said. "Me too. I hated doing nothing and just sitting on the couch all day", Lyanna said. "I completely understand. Now you can teach again. I'm so happy for you", Avery said. "I'm also very happy. I like to be here again", Lyanna said.

Lyanna and Sarah chat with a few other teachers for a while. When the bell rings at 8:30, it's time to go to class . Lyanna and Sarah walk toward the classroom together. When they arrived at the classroom, they both walked into another room. The classrooms are close together, but not next to each other. Sarah has to teach Hailey and Ellie's class first. Then you already know it's not going to work out. But Sarah still tries to make a good lesson of it. The class fills up with students and everyone packs their things. And so the lesson begins. And Sarah is so incredibly nervous. She's shaking on her feet, but she tries to hide it. She has no idea what's going to happen that class. Ellie and Hailey sit in the back. And they are already laughing all the time. Unstoppable. Sarah keeps telling the girls to stop, but they can't. At one point Sarah tries to talk to the girls and have a normal conversation. But when she turns around to walk back to her desk, they laugh again. At this point she thinks they are laughing at her and she doesn't like that. So she turns around again and asks the girls why they keep laughing so much and that she gets the feeling that they are laughing at her. But the ladies say they are not laughing at her, but they don't tell her why they are laughing then. She ignores it and goes back to her desk. At this point she wants to stop paying attention to it, but it's hard to do that when you keep hearing laughter.
So at the end of the lesson, she walks up to the girls and asks them why they laughed the whole lesson. But when Sarah said that, Hailey and Ellie tried to go away.

"Ladies, you need to say why you laughed and then you can go", Sarah said. "I choose living. So goodbye", Hailey said. "I'm not staying either. See you next lesson", Ellie said. "Hailey and Ellie, stay here", Sarah said.

But they were already gone. Sarah was angry. She didn't know what to do. What she did know is that the girls have a tough period ahead of them. They would never forget this. And they would regret all the choices they made. She only wanted to know why they lauged so much. Was that a weird question? Sarah thought that it was normal to ask. She would ask the girls again next class, because she needed to know. But she did have a plan, which kept them from just walking away. Sarah walked up to Lyanna and told the story of what happened in that lesson. Lyanna was in shock. Why would they do that? That was not at all convenient of. Lyanna was also now very curious about what was going on. But they would find out they thought. But did they really want to know?
