The moment we pulled out of the street, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding

"You did good", I said to him

"Am a natural", he chuckled

"It seemed like you practiced it, did you?", I turned to him

"Nope, I didn't have to. I just said the truth"

"You have no idea how nervous I was, I apologize if my family was a pain in the ass" I said to him

"It's fine, they are really sweet", he smiled

"Thank you", I answered

"You have no idea what I went through just to get a date for this love feast"

"Tell me, I want to know, we have the whole ride home"

Ten minutes later, Nathan was laughing his ass out as I explained all three experiences of my dates

"It's not funny", I crossed my hand over my chest

"It is funny Ava, Very funny. Who the hell takes a date guide on a date", he laughed

"A person who has never been on a date"

"For your first time, you have had terrible experiences", he shakes his head

"Tell me about it", I roll my eyes

We came to a halt in front of a traffic light when it turns red, which gives him an opportunity to look at me

"How about i take you out on date, and make up for all the lost times. If you want to?" He asked

"Sure, I mean why not", I answered

"Please do not bring your date guide along", he giggled

"Sure I won't", I chuckled

The light turned green and we started moving again. We finally arrived in front of my apartment

"Thank a lot for coming with me today", I say as he pulls up in front of my apartment

"You are welcome, I had fun", he smiled. "About that date, what do you say about tomorrow?", he asked

"Tomorrow sounds fine, what time", I unbuckle my seat belt

"Seven sounds good", he asked

"Seven sounds great", I smiled warmly before getting out of the car. "See you at seven tomorrow", and we that bid each other good bye

Liv couldn't stop gushing as I narrated the whole incident to her over the phone

"Aren't you lucky, your date just walked into the kitchen", she chuckled

" I know right"

"And all this happened the one day I wasn't at the bakery", she pouted

I chuckled. " I have to go now, I have a date to prepare for"

"All the best", she blew me a kiss and ended the call

At seven o'clock I was dressed and ready. I glanced at the mirror one before leaving my room. I heard a few voices outside the door, I move to the door and looked through the peep hole

"Hey handsome,you seem to be standing in the wrong door. Who are you here for?", she asked him

I could see Valerie talking to Nathan, she was flirting rather. A sense of urgency went off and I opened the door immediately

"He is here for me", I said confidently and get a hold of his arm

The shock on her face was unmissable

"Can we go now", I look up at Nathan with a cheeky smile

" sure, you look gorgeous by the way", he smiled down at me

"Thank you babe", I get on my toes and place a kiss on his cheek

I looked the door and put my keys in my bag and we start going down the stairs

Just as I was about to pass by Valerie, I stopped for a moment and whispered to her

"Hope your words taste good because you just ate them", I smirked

As we walk down the stairs, Nathan whispers into my ears

"Possessive much, I like it"

"Then get used to it",  I smirked
