A Date For Val

Chapter 5

We had quite a busy morning at the bakery, people were coming in . I was busy in the kitchen baking while Liv was taking orders and payments. We had some leftovers from Sunday while I baked fresh batches.

Mondays are always busy for us at the bakery, We get orders from retail stores and supermarkets, I really need to start thinking of a delivery system

After the Monday morning rush hours, we finally had some free time to at least seat before the evening rush.

"So", I hesitated a bit. "About that plan that you had, I want to hear about it", I sighed

"What changed", Liv asked amused

"Nothing", I shrugged

"Did Valerie say something again",she gave me a pointed look

"No, you know that love feast we usually have during Val at my family's place", I explained

"Yes, what about it?", she asks curiously

"My mum wants me to come and she wants me to come with a special someone", i air quoted

"Ouuuu", she grins. "So how can I help you?", her mischievous grin appeared on her face

I hate that I have to do this. "I need your help to find a person which I can take for the love feast, just for Val tho", I emphasized

"Yeah sure, just for Val", she chuckles. "Don't you worry I already have a plan on how to find the perfect guy for you"

"Is that how you got Liam", I teased

"Oh stop it", she blushed

That was all the time we had for our little chitchat before a set of school children came in to get some muffins

After a hectic day at the bakery, i and Liv decided to go over to her place to watch our favorite reality show. We closed the baker and head out, we stopped by the supermarket to grab some groceries for dinner

We arrived in front of Liv's apartment, thankfully unlike me Liv stays on the the 2nd floor so less stairs to climb...phew. Liv opened the door to her house, and turned on the light. I went to the kitchen and dropped the bag of groceries on the kitchen table while Liv went to the room.

I followed behind her, she was already in her closet searching out something for me to wear. Although Liv is a bit taller than me and I seem to have more curves than she does, out clothes fit each other perfectly. She got out a grey short and white white tee shirt for me to wear, while i hopped into the bathroom to freshen up.

After a few minutes, I got out of the bathroom to let Liv freshen up. Thankfully she didn't take forever, we both went to the kitchen to get the food cooking. We were both cooking and the doorbell rang

"I will get it, am sure it's Liam", she wipes her hands and goes to get the door

After a minute they both walk into the kitchen hand in hand

"Hey Liam, just in time for dinner", I smiled at him

"It smells good in here", he gives me a shoulder hug

I plated three plates of pasta for us to eat, after dinner we all got cozy on the couch. Liv and Liam sharing a blanket cuddling each other while I wrap myself up in my blanket
