A Date For Val

I was in a dilemma, it's either I disappoint my mum or find a date which is highly impossible at this point. Valentine is just a few days away.

Nevertheless the bakery was doing great, apart from my mum and Liv, my bakery is the most important thing to me. When my bakery is doing fine, then am doing fine

We were getting lots of orders, if there is one thing I like about this season is that it makes business boom. People were coming in to order cakes and other bakery products, i and Liv have been baking as much as we can.

With Liv being away of Valentine's Day, I needed a lot in the store to keep the bakery running. I stood in front of the shopping mart waiting for Liv, we needed to restock

Liv arrived a few minutes later and we both went in, grabbing two carts each we looked through our list while we picked everything we needed. After a long hour we finally ended up with two shopping carts full of items.

While we stood in line to make our payments, I got a message from Liam

Liam-
Hey Ava, sorry to bother you but could we meet up at park. I need a lil help

It was our turn, Liv made the payment while I replied Liam

Ava-
Alright, meet you there in 30 minutes

We got a cab and took all the stuffs to the bakery, i helped Liv sort out some things and left to see Liam. It took a lot of convincing and excuses to get away from her.

I spotted Liam's car in the park, I walked over and knocked on the window. He unlocked the car and I got in

"Sorry I took a minute", I settled in the seat

"It's alright", he smiled. " Umm I was thinking I would propose to Liv right here in the park"

"Why", I questioned

"We met at the park remember. Liv is sentimental so I want to do it here, by the fountain" he said looking at the fountain

"Liv is sentimental indeed", i nod in agreement. "She would absolutely love it"

"I got permission to decorate the fountain", he said.

"Oh nice, Liv is really lucky to have you . You both make a cute couple", I said genuinely

"Thanks a lot Ava, you have been really supportive", he pats my hand

I looked for my keys in my bag, I am standing in front of my door.

"If it isn't Ava loner", Valerie mocked

I rolled my eyes.

"I hope your Valentine's playlist is ready", she laughed

Her laugh could be compared to that of a cat in distress

"No, I wouldn't be needing it but I could make you one because you would be needing it when your cheating boyfriend finally leaves you ", i savaged

"How dare you?", she said through gritted teeth

I quickly found my keys and opened the door, before she could say anything else I walked in and slammed the door in her face
