"Have a seat", i offered him

"Sorry for coming so unexpectedly", he sat down

"That's alright", I sat down next to him on the couch

"I realized I forgot my ID card and drivers license with you"

"Oh yes, am sorry. I totally forgot to give it to you, I would get it", I stood up and went to my bedroom to get it

After a few Seconds I was back to the sitting room

"There you go", i handed it back to him

"Thanks, I would leave now", he stood up

"No", I stood as well. "I was just making breakfast, would you please stay for breakfast"

"Oh no, I have to go somewhere right now",he refused with a smile

"Is it so urgent that you can't stay for breakfast", I said

"I might have to refuse you again, I am running late. I am sorry", he apologized Politely

"Okay", my face dropped. I walked him to the door, I was about to close the door when he spoke

"I really want to stay for breakfast but I can't, I really want to make it up to you. How do I make it up to you?", he smiled

"My best friend is having a dinner to celebrate her engagement, would you accompany"? I asked him

"What time?", he asked

"Around 7pm", I contemplated

"See you by 7", he waved with a smile

I searched through my wardrobe for something to wear, after looking through I settled for a black corset dress. I took a quick bath, did my hair and make up. I slipped into my black dress while I waited for Nathan, hopefully he would come

At exactly 7pm I heard a knock on the door, I jerked up and went to get it. I opened the door to a handsome looking Nathan. He was wearing a black pant, a black, short sleeve, button down shirt and a silver chain dangled around his neck

I could have sworn that my jaw dropped for a moment

"Good evening", he greeted

"Good evening", my eyes roamed around his body

"You look amazing", he complimented with a smile

"Thank you", I blushed. "You look good yourself", I said shyly

"Can we go now", he asked

"Yes, I will just get my purse"

I got my purse, turned off the light and Locked the door. We both went down the stairs and he lead me towards his car, he opened the door for me and I slipped into the passenger seat. He turned around and got into the driver's seat and we drove away

We got to the restaurant, my eyes scanned the place for Liv and Liam immediately I walked through the doors. I found them sitting at a table by the window, I led the way to the table

We exchanged greetings. I could see the questioning look on their faces, especially Liv. I introduced Nathan to both Liv and Liam and we both congratulated them, while we waited for our orders Liv dragged me to ladies room

"Who is Nathan", she had a cheeky smile on her face

"He is my friend I guess", I shrugged

"Oh really, seems pretty hot to me", she grinned

"You just got engaged", I smacked her hand and she giggled

"Just stating the obvious", she laughed

"Let's get back to dinner before the boys start wondering what we are doing", I dragged her out of the bathroom
