Y/N POV

???

Ok...I have to admit. Wherever I landed is pretty weird. Whenever I tried walking around, it felt like I was going nowhere.

And best of all, that was sarcasm in case you didn't get it, was that Everest wasn't with me! So without their guidance, I'm not sure where I was going or where I was even in.

So, without any other choice, I decided to break the silence with a shout.

"Hello!? Anyone here!?" My voice echoed throughout the void, but sadly, I only heard my voice ringing throughout the space. "Great, is this what I get for using the dark side called the "Dark Knight"?" I asked myself with a furrowed brow.

??: "No..."

When I heard that voice, it made me jump a bit. Just who said that!?

"Hello?!?! Who's there!? Who are you!?" I asked, turning my head to see anyone. But still, no one was within my sight.

??: "Be not afraid, young one... There is still time..."

"Time?? Just who are you!? Explain right now!"

Messenger: "I am the messenger... I come to deliver you...a purpose... You must fulfill..."

The messenger? A purpose? I have no slightest clue what it's talking about.

"Hold on, I don't speak less words. Give me more details. I need to know where or how I even got here! And I swear, if you don't start talking more I'm gonna-" I was cut short when I felt a burning light inside my eyes.

Not gonna lie, it hurts like hell...

Messenger: "With time, you will realize your true potential... Only then, you must remain strong... And bring balance to this world..."

"Did you really have to say all that when you almost burned my eyes out!? That really hurt!" I shouted angrily, hoping they would acknowledge that.

Messenger: "With this blessing, you may continue your research... But be warned, time is at stake for you... For where there is anger, there is darkness..."

Okay, I don't speak riddles 'cause this voice is talking nonsense.

"Quit speaking riddles! Just give me a straight answer or at least a clue!" There was a mere moment of silence then they started to speak again.

Messenger: "Look into the book for the source... Only then will you be able to find your place..."

The book? Wait, does it mean the book that I was trying to look into earlier? That makes sense now.

"Now I get what you mean. But how will I know when it's time? When will I reach it?" I tried asking but they continued on.

Messenger: "Find the light within yourself... The time will come for when you find your Destiny..." They started to fade away as my eyes shrank in surprise.

"No! Wait!!! I still have questions! Don't leave me with all of these unanswered!!!" I tried shouting but soon slowly fell back to reality.

Back to Y/N's room

I groaned as I opened my eyes, feeling a bit groggy. But soon I felt a voice screaming at me immediately waking me up a bit more.

Everest: "Y/N! You're awake!" They said, looking surprised.

I felt a blanket and a cushion underneath me. Someone must have put me in my bed. I sat up and rubbed my head.

"Everest...what happened to me?" I asked, my voice cracking a bit. I need to drink some water after this.

Everest: "You passed out after I accidentally cast a spell on you. Well, mostly a beam of light." They said, looking at the book then back at me. I started to think to myself for a moment. Then it all finally started clicking in my head.

"I...I think it was the messenger. They must have sent a message to me through your eye with some magic as well. I was sent...somewhere in my head? They spoke to me earlier as well. They said something about...finding a role. A destiny to fulfill as well." I pondered again.

Everest: "Y/N... I think that was the messenger of the angels. I think...you may be the chosen one. Think about it, this may be a big opportunity for you to search into the source of light."

That made me go over to my book that was now on my desk and I flipped the book open to see words. I gasped in surprise. That would explain the burning pain in my eyes earlier.

"This all makes sense to me now. I need to look into this. And maybe one day...I'll find my destiny. But time on the other hand, that's gonna be...problematic. I'll have to search and find it quickly." I sit down on my chair.

Everest: "Woah! Hold it! You can't just make it come to you super fast. These things need time and patience. You can't just rush through and hurt yourself further like that."

I groaned and looked at Everest. "But I need this. I need to make my reputation stable again... I could no longer feel pain if I discovered this power sooner than later." Everest rolled their eye at this.

Everest: "If the angels saw you rushing through, they won't think it's worthy. Sometimes speed isn't always the key."

I sighed and looked down. Maybe they're right on that one. If I rush too much, they may not think of me as a worthy adversary. Perhaps I need to be more careful in the future.

"You know what? You're right. I need to lay low a bit first anyway." I turned back to the book.

Everest: "How long are you going to lay low?"

"Not sure. But my determination won't go down. Besides, I need to do some research starting right now. One day, I will discover that light. And it will be amazing!" I went to the beginning of the book and heard some chirping outside. "Say, how long have I been out for?"

Everest: "Half the day. You passed out for about ten hours."

"Oh no! I need to get started right away! Time is too precious for it to be wasted on doing nothing." I quickly began to read the book.

I have a feeling something big might happen later on... So I need to keep studying as much as I can.

It might be worth it to protect my family, Cuppy and my friends.

I know one day...I will protect this city with my life.

I will beat the odds, I can go the distance!

I will face the world! Fearless, proud and strong!

I will please the gods!

I can go the distance till I find my hero's welcome right where I belong~!

A/N: And the rest is history during season 2. Hope you enjoyed that little side story I made. Apologies if this one was a bit short.

I've got a few other side stories I have to create then I'll get back to creating the main story.
