Third POV

It was a beautiful morning in fall like any other. The leaves were falling and dancing in the sky, landing gracefully to the ground. The northern birds were preparing to plan a trip to the north for when winter comes. Even the forest animals were busy gathering food as well just to survive many nights of the cold air yet to come.

Upon the landscape, there was a cottage, decorated by all sorts. A scarecrow with a sign saying "Enter if you dare", a few black cats on the ground and roof, even a few pumpkins were strewn upon the house as well. And there were even pumpkins that were carved in their style of Elder Kettle, Cuphead, Mugman and Y/N.

Inside the home, Cuphead couldn't handle hiding his excitement, bouncing impatiently.

Cuphead: "C'mon Mugsy, we gotta get to the store to get the goodies!" He shouted, clearly about to blow any minute if he waited longer.

Mugman: "Alright, alright! I was just getting my coat!" He replied, walking down the stairs while putting on his blue coat. "You know how cold it's been getting since fall has started."

Cuphead just chuckled, showing off at how he got prepped up much faster than Mugsy did. Mugman just rolled his eyes.

Mugman: "Why can't we bring Y/N along? Doesn't she have her flight ability to make this trip much faster?"

E.K.: "Y/N will be busy with me setting up some Halloween dinner for tonight so that way you will not go out on an empty stomach." He answered. The cups gaze at him, reading his newspaper on his reading chair.

Cuphead: "What? But I gotta make room for my stomach when I get to eat all that sweet candy!" He retaliated.

E.K.: "Candy is not considered a meal. Besides, it's bad for your stomach if you consume too much of it." He narrowed his eyes at Cuphead, making Cups roll his eyes while crossing his arms. (A/N: Take notes kids and teens)

Cuphead: "Riiiiight, well we oughta get going. C'mon Mugsy." He said, happily walking to the exit of the house.

Mugman just shrugged and followed after him and heard the door slam shut. Elder Kettle just shook his head and resumed back to reading his newspaper.

E.K.: "Boys will be boys."

Y/N POV

I honestly can't tell you how excited I am for Halloween this year! I love, love, LOVE this time of the year. (A/N: If you don't like the season or Halloween, then pretend you like something else or it's not there.)

My mind was racing as I looked over my past previous sketches on what I should be this year. A cat? Nah, too simple. A witch? I know I possess magic and all but this is a bit too much for me. A skeleton? Too many bones. A werewolf? Nah...

So many options yet, I don't know what to choose! What am I going to do!?

Everest: "Y/N, you're flipping out again." They rolled their eye, clearly getting tired of my mental panics every now and then.
