The three of them left Silas' body and the curse behind and headed back to the road where they left the car. Laura handed the gun back to Travis, who nodded toward her thankfully. They got in the car and Travis started the engine.
"So... it's really over now, right?" Ryan asked unsurely.
"Yes," said Travis.
"What now?" asked Laura.
"I'm taking you, kids, back to the camp. You stay inside the lodge, for real this time. I'll go and... take care of something... My family... After I finished, I'll go back to the lodge and get your car going," said Travis.
"What about our car?" asked Laura.
"I'll take you to the scrapyard, there's your car," said Travis patiently while driving towards the camp. "For now, stay in the lodge."
"Okay," she said.
