(The Sinful Soldier)

"If I could tell you how dangerous I am, trust me,
I would."

:—————:

"Where the hell is that Woman!" A heavy yell erupted from the entrance of the bar, stiffening Xavier like a steel pole stuck in winter, even though that man is more than capable of throwing anyone through a window if he had the mentality for it.

"There she is." Another man's voice joined the mix, haven't yet turned my attention I knew there were two men standing by the door and one slowly approaching me. His steps were heavy against the floor, making my mind wander away to when I was younger, when I was between the ages of 13 and 15.

I could always hear my stepfather's footsteps when he walked through the halls of (my) our house during the night when everyone was asleep, except for me. Every night I would hear his footsteps approach my door. I would unconsciously run towards the bathroom and lock myself up and wait for as long as I needed until he left my room, if he ever did — Which was never the case — He would wait like a starving hawk in the middle of my dark room until I came out. His bright demonic blue eyes would peer into me like daggers waiting to take their final strike at me and end me. It felt like every night was the same thing, an endless loop of a deprived monster walking into my room, torturing me for his own amusement until he felt satisfied. Then he'd walk out like nothing ever happened, even say "Goodnight my sweet daughter." To me like he was my biological father.

No one has ever heard a word about the things he did to me. Not a single soul that has ever existed on this planet, and no one ever will.

I'm ashamed,
for being weak,
for being fragile,
for being ill,
for being a girl,
for being an easy target.

Even if there's evidence on my body from his actions, no one will ever see the secrets that lie buried beneath my clothes.

"You killed one of our men," The man's voice creeped up behind me making the joints in my vertebrae crack from straightening my spine. "Didn't you?" I didn't answer his stupid question.

Yes, I did.
And I enjoyed it with a grin on my face.
Fuck, I'd do it again if I could.
Oh, but I can.
Just a different person, which should feel equally the same, if not better.

The man behind me grew impatient with my steaming silence. "Answer the damn question you-"

"-She doesn't need to answer anything from your dumbass." Levi interrupted him with a sickening glare lacing his dark orbs like a meteor burning the earths crust from its raging heat.

"The fuck did you just say?" The man stepped away from me turning to face Levi who didn't look the least bit intimidated.

My head pivoted a bit more, catching Levi's widened stare at me, his dark orbed eyes contradicted the whites of his eye making them appear smaller and less defined, but stronger and more dangerous. His mouth parted slightly, ignoring that the man was walking closer to him with what I immediately knew was a gun.

A loaded gun with a finger hovering over the gates of death.

'Shit Shit Shit Shit Shit!' My mind raced around the entire room catching glimpse of this entire situation. (The situation that's entirely my fault)
