(The Sinless Soldier)

"Emotions are a cruel thing,
Aren't they?"

:—————:

I walked with her towards the bar we first saw each other at, which wasn't that long ago to be honest.

I can't believe a woman that I've barely seen or even spoke too has invaded my mind more than people who I've known for years have. I can't believe that she's taken over my cognitive mind like a virus, slowly but surely getting worse and worse with every passing day that I don't see her.

It got to the point I fucking searched for her, trying to find her and see if she's alright. She left me on a damn cliffhanger for fuck sakes. She waltzed out of the bar a months ago after killing two grown ass men like it was child's play without speaking a single words.

What type of person would just leave after a situation like that, not even acknowledge the burning fact of bodies bleeding on the floor. Not to fucking mention her aiming skills with a knife, it's like she's a damn assassin for the screwed government.

Even MPs aren't as skilled as her, scratch that. MPs are useless to society, they are corrupt and weak as a party. She's no MP, if she is, she must be well known by many, but from the information I gathered, no one seems to know her, not even her name.

She's a ghost throughout the entire place, everyone seems to see her and admire how gorgeous she is, but no one knows her. No one dares walk up to her and ask, it's like she's a silent silhouette that just exists.

I keep glancing at her, watching her every expression. She shows very little, her eyes are a bit slanted down presumably from lack of sleep due to the discoloration under her E/C eyes, lips turned slightly downwards from the lack of smiling, and brows that are scrunched but relaxed together.

She seems undisturbed from the information I told her.

About Xavier.

It's a shame he fell in the pit of mental illness, it's really unfortunate actually. I slowly started to like the guy, he made my drinks to the point, and surprisingly we had great talks — even though I'm not a big conversation person — he still seemed to keep me engaged in the conversation even when I was pissed about something.

But something felt off about her when I mentioned that he killed himself. It was like a shadow was seething behind her slowly encasing her in something dark, pushing me away from her. It's most likely my imagination playing with me again, however something did feel off in the atmosphere that I definitely didn't like, neither accepted.

We've been walking in silence for a while, I didn't expect her to say anything, neither did I.

Silence feels good to be around, everyone needs silence in their life. To much commotion can lead to insanity, and no one wants to be insane.

I opened the door out of courtesy for her and she just looked at me, a blank stare. Vivid with no emotions, a walking body with zero evidence of human sensation.

She walked in, her coat began shifting off her shoulder as she took it off and carried it in her arms as the temperature rose in the bar. She's wearing all black again. It compliments her H/C hair well, not to completely forget her figure too. She's deceiving to be honest, with a coat she seems to be quite delicate and petite, but once she takes the thick, large fabric off, she reveals her toned self and how defined her muscles sculpt her figure, accentuating her natural curves.
