Dorian

She's sleeping soundly collapsed in my arms as I am bare staring at the window in shock. Moonlight pours onto her body making her look angelic, but with me she was sinful.

My mouth parts as my mind tries to cope. She kissed me. She pulled me to her.

Like she wanted me.

It took everything in me not to encourage it any further, I want her sober, on our wedding night. I want to take her out of her beautiful wedding dress and take her to my bed on that beautiful night.

When she wakes up she will be furious with herself.

I touch my lips like I can't quite believe it. I haven't kissed her in hundreds of years, it was so good.

Her lips were so soft, it was like silk on mine. It felt euphoric and my heart felt as if it were floating.

My self-control was slipping every minute and the ruined couch was a testament to that.

"My love you trouble me so." I sigh as I look at her beautiful face.

"If only you knew the brink which you drive me insane towards." I kiss her temple.

My eyes are shining with earnestness I know, I look at her like she is my jewel, she's everything to me. I am convinced my mother in heaven sent her to me as a gift, she had to be from heaven she was an angel.

Briar was everything, the purest heart, and the kindest soul. My soul had a deep craving for hers, every day it called. My body ached for her and my mind sang for her. My soul was desperate by the day, it was crying.

I picked her up in my arms looking at her blessed face. I carry her out of my study and back into my room. I set her down on the sheets and tucked her into the bed softly. With one last glance, I took off to sleep in my study.

Briar Rose

I awaken to my mind's disturbance. I am disturbed. I remember what I did last night. I hang my head in shame and embarrassment. Must I always make a fool of myself?

"How can I face him" I mutter.

The doors open and Elosie and Taurus come in.

"I see he has now made you retire in his dorms."

 I nod.

Eloise hums. "Let's get you ready your wedding is next Sunday, today we are having your dress fitting."

I pout. I have no say in this.

They usher me to the bathroom and I see a simple pink dress laid. It's soft and comfortable and long but not large like a ballgown. It has lace stitching near the wrists and a small pink bow in the middle near my chest. I bathe and prepare myself. I put my hair in a ponytail with pink lace around it to tie as a bow. Some curly strands are left around my face. I entail some pearls near the ends of my hair and exit.

Taurus gushes.

"You look beautiful my lady."

Eloise smiles and nods.

"Come now."

I follow them out of my room and into the hallway. Despite the darkness of the castle walls, the onyx allows light to pass easily. It's bright and says shines beautifully. I am ushered down the main stairs and down the lobby into another hallway. I have lived here for two months and still, I can't find my way. I am meeting with the dining room door. Eloise knocks simply and then they are gone. I stand alone and wait when the doors open quite grandly.
