At Kristina's, Studios-Kristina was going over her notes when her cell phone went off, and she answered it. "Carly, I was going to call you. They want me to cover it. Are you sure?" Kristina asked as she hung up the phone and Dillon came by. "Did you hear the news?" "Yes, Michael was gone." "Yes," Carly said. "She wants me to cover it. We'll do it justice." "Yes, we will," Kristina said, wiping her tears away.
At Serena's office-Serena was working at her desk when her cell phone went off. "Kristina, any word on Michael?" "No, I'm sorry." "Are you sure?" Serena asked and hung up the phone, then wrote a story about Michael's death.
At Lila's Hotel-Genevieve was working on the party that the hotel was hosting when her cell phone rang. It was Skye. "Mother, what is it?" "No," Genevieve said; she hung up the phone and went to greet the guests who arrived.
At the Quartermaine mansion-Willow was in the living room with Nina and Lila Rae, who were trying to help, when Wiley came in. "Mom, what is going on?" Wiley asked as Carly and AJ entered. Willow looked at them and understood what happened. "Wiley, your father was in a plane crash," she said.
"Is Dad okay?" Wiley asked, looking at his grandparents. "No, I'm sorry," Carly replied. "Baby, your father loved you both so much," she added as she hugged her grandson. "No!" Wiley exclaimed. "No, Michael," Willow said.
"I'm sorry," Nina said. "Thanks," Carly responded. "Did they bring Michael's body back?" "Yes, my mother went to make sure it went smoothly," Carly said.
AJ walked over to the bar, so angry at himself that he walked away.
