At the police station—Mac and Ric were there when Genevieve came in. "You want to see me?" We are looking into who burned your house down. We hope this isn't a mob war about to start. "No, it won't. I'm going to start over, rebuild, and let it go," she said. "Really?" Ric asked. "Yes," she replied. "I'm glad you're okay. For your mother's sake," Ric said. "Yes, you have some kind of relationship with my mother, but it's nothing serious. She doesn't love you; she loves my father still and always will," Genevieve said. Ric was hurt by this as Genevieve left.
At a house—Nikolas was in the living room when Spencer came in. "Where is Alexis?" Spencer asked. "She's getting ready to leave. Spencer, maybe we should go back too," Nikolas said. "I don't want to go to jail again," Spencer replied. "You made that choice," Nikolas said. His phone rang; it was his lawyer, and Nikolas was upset as he hung up. "Father," Spencer said. "We just lost the empire and our house," Nikolas added.
"To whom?" Spencer asked.
"The Quartermaines," Nikolas replied. "This is my fault," he added.
"Yes, it is!" Nikolas yelled as Alexis entered the room. "What's going on?" she asked. "The Quartermaines took the empire and all our houses!" Nikolas exclaimed. "This isn't the end. We'll get it back," Alexis reassured him. "I'll look at all the paperwork," she added.
At Carly's-Carly told AJ her plan to get Monique, but AJ was having doubts. When his phone rang, it was Skye. "Skye? Alright, I'll be right there," AJ said, then hung up. "I have to go home. Let me get back to you," he added. "Alright," AJ said and left.
