At the Bahamas, Spencer and Lila Rae were in their hotel room. "Spencer, why don't we go to the beach? We haven't been out of the hotel room in a long time." "We will soon," Spencer said just as there was a knock on the door. "Son, it's your father," Nikolas said. Spencer opened the door to find Alexis and Nikolas. "Why are you both here?" "Because you're in legal trouble," Nikolas replied as Lila Rae came over. "Spencer, what are they talking about?" Lila Rae asked. "Spencer, I'll help you get out of this, but you need to stop running," Alexis said. "Spencer," Lila Rae said. "Lila Rae, you're going to hate me, but Michael got a deal that I wanted so badly, and it is mine now that Michael died before he could get it," Spencer explained. "You caused Michael's plane crash?" Lila Rae asked. "Yes! He killed your cousin," Skye said as she entered with Mateo. "Mother," Lila Rae exclaimed. "Lila Rae, you need to come home. We can annul your marriage," Skye said. "Lila Rae, you may hate me right now, but I love you, and I know you love me," Spencer said. "You helped me deal with Alec's death. I found love again with you, but I don't know what to think right now — you killed my cousin over a deal," Lila Rae said. "It was a billion-dollar deal. I had to have it," Spencer replied.
"Lila Rae," Skye called. "Spencer, I hope you do the right thing in this. Maybe we can fix our relationship, but I'm going home with my mother." Lila Rae left with Skye and Mateo. "I lost the woman I love again. Spencer, we need to get you out of this — by going to jail," he said.
At Port Charles, Elizabeth was walking when she ran into Carly. "Carly," Elizabeth said. "I know everyone asked, but how are you doing?" "Not good. It doesn't get easier," Carly replied. "No, it doesn't. How is AJ?" Elizabeth asked. "AJ wants revenge." "How?" Elizabeth questioned. "I'm trying to talk him out of taking Emily's daughter," Carly explained. "Really?" Carly said. "I should go," Elizabeth said and left. Carly then had an idea.
