At the Quartermaine mansion-Skye was alone in the den, watching the maids clean up when Mateo came in. "Why are you here?" he asked. "I just wanted to give my condolences and say I'm sorry about our fight. I understand why you're worried about your daughter, and you have every right to be." "Thank you. I will do anything to get Genevieve out of the business. I don't care that you'll protect her; she's not going to be a mob boss." "Genevieve is a smart businesswoman." "Yes, she is, and she can do something else. Thank you for apologizing," Skye said as Lila Rae and Genevieve came in. "Is everything okay?" Lila Rae asked. "Yes, I was just giving my condolences about Michael. I'll go," Mateo said, as he left. "Mother—" "Girls, we need to talk about both of your futures at ELQ." "What about?" "Lila Rae, you've done a great job, and Genevieve, it's time you work for the company you share. I want you both to work at ELQ too." "Mother, what if I don't want to?" "Genevieve, you're a Quartermaine, and it's time you become one. Leave the business of your father to Mateo." "Mother, even ELQ is dangerous. It killed Michael." "That was an accident." "What if I don't want to?" "Genevieve, please. I can't lose you," Skye said, crying softly. "Alright, I'll try." "Good."
At Nikolas'—Nikolas was at home with his daughter when Alexis came in. "How was the funeral?" she asked. "Sad, but we need to talk about something else—there's another Cassadine out there." "Who?" "I should not be sharing this, but Victor raped Skye when she was a teenager, and they have a son who's out there." "No! Does Skye know where he is?" "I helped her find him."
