At the Quartermaine mansion—front entrance-Mateo dropped Skye back home. "I had a nice time," Mateo said. "Me too," Skye replied. Mateo kissed Skye on her cheek, and both of them felt something. "I should go," Mateo said. "Yes," Skye agreed. Mateo left, and Skye went inside to find AJ waiting in the foyer. "Skye, I saw that you shared a kiss with Mateo. Are you dating him?" AJ asked. "We just had dinner, that's all," Skye answered. "What about Ric?" "It's complicated." "No, you like Mateo because he reminds you of Lorenzo." "Yes, I was angry with Lorenzo before he passed, but I loved him. He was the love of my life," Skye explained. "Skye, you could do better." "AJ, don't you get it? Lorenzo loved me for who I am. He never tried to change me into a perfect woman. He liked the side of me that broke rules and blackmailed people," Skye said. "Because of what he did for a living?" "Yes. I just don't want to see you get hurt," AJ said. "I wouldn't," Skye replied.
At Genevieve's—Genevieve was sitting in the living room reading when Mateo came in all happy. "Where have you been?" she asked. "I went out to dinner." "With whom?" "Skye." "You had dinner with my mother?" Genevieve asked as she got up. "Yes, it was just a friendly dinner, and I enjoyed it," Mateo replied. "Really?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, Genevieve, we need to find you a guy. It's time you move on from that no-good late husband of yours," Mateo said. "Yes, I know," Genevieve agreed. "I need to make a phone call before I turn in," she added and went into the office.
At the Bahamas, hotel—Spencer and Lila Rae were in a hotel. "Spencer, we need to go back to Port Charles," she said. "Why? We could make this our new start," Spencer replied. Lila Rae was worried about what Spencer was up to.
