Repairing The Family Part 3 Chapter 14
Saying Goodbye
At the church—Michael's funeral—the Quartermaines, Carly, Bobbie, Lucas, Alexis, Kristina, and Serena were there. "We are here to say goodbye to a father, a son, and a husband—Michael Quartermaine," the father said. AJ stood up. "Michael was taken from me twice—once as a baby when his mother thought a mob boss would be a better father than me! When I came back, we had a wonderful relationship. We worked together, and I watched him raise his son, Wiley, who he loves very much, and his wife, Willow. Michael became the man I wish I was, and I enjoy every minute working with him at ELQ. I just wish it didn't kill him. I wish this wasn't how my son's life ended," AJ said as he sat down. Willow got up. "Michael and I married for the love of a boy, but then it turned into love, and we wouldn't have it any other way. I loved Michael so much, and our son. I just can't believe that Michael is gone," Willow said as she sat down.
Carly got up. "Karma is real, I guess. I have now lost three children—first Morgan, then Josslyn, and now Michael. I don't know if I can go on. I don't understand why this keeps happening. Michael should be here with his family, and all my children should be here. It's not fair!" Carly yelled. Lucas came up and took Carly to the chair.
Kristina got up. "Michael was one of the best of all of us, and he should be here with us! He should be watching his son graduate from high school, then college, and grow old with Willow. I just don't understand why it happened," Kristina said.
Ned, Drew, AJ, and Dillon carried the casket out as Brooklyn sang a song.
Carly went outside as they carried the casket, and Bobbie held her hand.
