Repairing The Family Part 3, Chapter 39
At the Quartermaine mansion-Skye and Ned were in the living room when Brooklyn and AJ entered.
"What's this about? Is it bad news?" "No, it's good news. I just took the Cassadine empire and houses from them," Ned explained.
"Ned, I'm glad you did," Brooklyn said. "AJ, I loved Michael too." "I know you did. I just came from seeing Carly. She wants to help us get Monique," AJ added.
"AJ, you can't trust her. Carly will just use you and then take Monique herself," Skye said as Drew entered the room.
"Why are you still here?" Skye asked.
"Skye, he's your brother," Brooklyn said.
"Don't remind me," Drew muttered.
"I'm a Quartermaine, and this time, I'm not leaving town," Drew declared.
"If you think that's a threat, you don't know me," Skye retorted, just as Olivia entered.
"Ned, can we talk alone?" Olivia asked.
"Yes," Ned said and left with Olivia.
"Who will run the Cassadine empire now?" AJ wondered.
"I think you should," Skye suggested.
"Yes, I guess I could," AJ agreed.
Ned and Olivia were in the den. Ned looked at Olivia, sensing something was wrong.
"Olivia, whatever it is, I'll be there for you," Ned assured her.
"You always have. I have breast cancer, but it's been caught early," Olivia revealed.
"I'll get you the best doctor," Ned promised.
"I trust Dr. Drake," Olivia added.
"Me too," Ned agreed.
"We have to tell Leo," Olivia said.
"We will tell him together," Ned confirmed.
Skye was alone in the living room when Ric entered.
"Hey," Ric greeted.
"Hi," Skye responded. "The maid let me in. I just had to see you," Ric said, sharing a kiss.
"I'm okay. Worry about my daughters," Skye replied.
"Why don't I take you away on a trip? We could leave now," Ric suggested.
"Where to?" Skye asked.
"It's a surprise," Ric answered.
"I don't know," Skye hesitated, just as Genevieve entered.
"What's going on?" Genevieve asked.
"I'm taking your mother on a trip," Ric announced.
"Really! Mother, you can't be serious with him! I know you still love Daddy," Genevieve said.
"Genevieve! I'm your mother, and you can't tell me what to do. Why don't you focus on your own life and not mine!" Skye yelled.
"Mother, he's the mayor of this town," Genevieve pointed out.
"Yes! I could go after you," Ric said.
"Ric, let's go on a trip," Skye suggested.
"Mother," Genevieve protested.
"It's time I focus on my life, and you do too. Not the past. Your father's not coming back," Skye stated.
"You're destroying his memory," Genevieve said.
Skye left with Ric.
