"You deserve better, you always have Simeon. I'm sorry I couldn't be that for you," they choked back a sob.

I put my hand out to grab them. "Y/N, my sweet lamb, please. You deserve better than this pain. Let me in; let me help, please," I softly spoke. I could feel my tears falling down my face. It's too much for me to bear seeing Y/N be in pain, and right now, the main priority is to get them somewhere safe. I have to protect them.

I watched as Y/N stared back at me, their eyes seemed so lost, so lifeless. "I'm sorry Simeon, I'm so sorry." In a blink of the eye, they fell backward.

"No!" I screamed out reaching for them.

Our hands barely grazed, but it wasn't enough and I watched as their body disappeared from the ledge.

My heart is in my ears.

I didn't even waste a moment to consider any consequences.

'Y/N, my sweet. I'm coming'

My body followed after them, my mind was already made up.

SPOILER WARNING: This oneshot alludes to things about Simeon revealed in Lesson 76. I will not explicitly say specific details but I will allude to it. PLEASE READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. 

3rd Person POV

Sharp screams echoed throughout the alleyway alerting everyone of the horrific scene. 

"Someone call Lord Diavolo! The Demon brothers! Call someone!" a demoness student yelled out. 

Quickly, many students sprung into action. Calls rang out for help as some attempted their best to contact the demon prince and the student council. Within mere seconds, Lucifer, Diavolo, and Barbatos appeared in the alleyway, the rest of Lucifer's brothers catching up to the trio quickly. What they saw, was something they wouldn't ever wish on their worst enemies. 

Laying lifeless on the ground were Simeon and MC. A red pool circled the two as MC lay in Simeon's hold. The brothers, Demon Prince, and Butler stood in shock. As Barbatos approached the two, he internally wished what he knew had already happened to be wrong. He checked the two for a pulse, some glimmer to make him spring into action. Yet, what he already knew was proven true. Simeon's punishment made him just as vulnerable as MC. For that, at this moment, he too paid the ultimate consequence. 

Barbatos stood and turned to the group. His grave expression rocked the demons to their core. Tears escaped their eyes, some more than others. Diavolo and Lucifer gathered Simeon and MC's bodies, solemnly. As a group, they brought the lifeless bodies of MC and Simeon to the demon lord's castle. Upon arrival, Solomon and Luke were summoned to be informed of the grim news. Wails of sorrow echoed off the walls countless times before the group was able to somewhat speak.

"Lord Diavolo," Luke began. "What's going to happen now?"

Lord Diavolo looked at the lifeless bodies before turning his attention to the little Angel.  "I don't know Luke. I need to contact the Celestial Realm to see if they want his body to be returned there or if they would want him to be placed in the River of Reincarnation. As for MC, their body will be returned to the human world; their family will be alerted."
