Thread! Period Pain Simulator

Thread: "How the Obey Me! Characters would react to a Period Pain Simulator" bc mother nature is testing me this month 🙃
Summary: MC convinces the characters to try a Period Pain Simulator. Here's my hc of how it went down.

Disclaimer: since it's canon that demons & angels have a higher strength level, I'm assuming they have a higher pain tolerance so Solomon "tweaks" the machine to make it more equitable. Will also put the level they "tap out" on: 1 is the lowest & 10 is highest level of pain.

Lucifer:
- Doesn't show pain on the outside bc of his pride
- Inside is a whole different story
- His mind races to think that you go through this every month, or even at all
- Whole new level of respect for you
- Taps out at level 8 only bc he physically cannot handle the pain anymore
- "Apologies for being short with you before, MC."

Mammon:
- Smugly thinks he can handle it & that it's not a big deal.
- Screams early
- "Whaddaya mean that's only level 2?!
- Taps out at 4

Levi:
- Scared bc he has seen so many Slice of Life animes that showed periods being awful
- Afraid he'd end up like one if his anime characters
- "This is such a normie thing"
- Like Mammon, screams early on
- Taps out at 4

Satan:
- Doesn't think it would be too bad.
- Assumed Mammon was over exaggerating
- Fine for the first few levels
- Breaks out in a cold sweat by level 5
- Has to grip the table for support by level 7
- "How the hell do you do this?"
- Taps out at level 8

Asmo:
- Scared to try; willing to do it for you
- Shrieks of shock w/ the first few levels
- "It's not too bad"
- When the levels hit 5 & 6, he drops to the ground.
- Theatrical response
- Taps out at 6
- "MC let me pamper you as an apology for the pain you go through!"

Beel:
- Feels ticklish for many levels
- Laughs at levels until it hits 6
- "This isn't too bad so far... wait... oh that's starting to hurt."
- Grips his stomach in pain
- "I'm not hungry anymore"
- Doesn't show pain except for the occasional grimace & ouch
- Taps out @ 9

Belphie:
- He hates the idea
- "Let me sleep"
- You bet he can't sleep through the pain
- Falls asleep instantly & stays asleep through first 2 levels
- Baffles everyone
- Starts stirring in sleep
- Jolts up in pain at 5, rips patches off
- Taps out at 5
- "Now let me sleep"

Diavolo:
- Tries to maintain composure
- Laughs throughout first many levels bc he's ticklish
- Laughs cut off abruptly by level 6
- "My, that turned painful rather quick"
- Sharp winces and grimaces
- Shifts weight to try to ease pain
- Taps out at level 9
- *Hugs MC* "You're the strongest person I know"

Barbatos:
- Hesitant to try but does so at the encouragement of you & Diavolo
- Maintains stoic expression throughout
- Is he immune to pain?!
- Can't tell if he feels the effects of the machine or not
- Only sight of discomfort are his hands: clenched in a fist & pressed against his abdomen
- "That was uncomfortable. I do not wish to ever experience that again. MC I will look into new tea blends so that your pain levels may be less during these times."
- Taps out at 8

Simeon:
- Winces at the first level
- "That wasn't expected."
- By level 4, low whimpers can be heard
- With each increasing level, he shoots you looks of pity and sorrow
- "MC you shouldn't have to go through this"
- Taps out at level 5

Luke:
- You don't make him use the modified one; give him the regular machine instead
- "Ow! That's painful"
- He didn't know what to expect
- Whines in pain
- Taps out at level 2
- Runs to you after. "MC! That hurt so much! How do you do that?"

Solomon:
- Tries to get out of it
- "MC, I'm human like you. Would you really make me do this?"
- Sighs in defeat when you insist
- Tries not to show pain
- Fails by level 4
- In obvious pain but refuses to stop bc he's stubborn
- Doesn't want to admit defeat
- Breaks out in a cold sweat
- Taps out at level 5

Raphael:
- Like Barbatos, barely shows discomfort
- Is he immune to pain?! Number 2
- "So this is what you're complaining about every month? I get it now."
- Taps at level 6

Mephisto:
- Arrogant he can make it to level 10
- Proven wrong; screams out in pain @ level 3
- "This thing is rigged"
- Taps out at level 4

13:
- HC that as a reaper, 13 doesn't need to have a period so she never had one
- Laughs out at the first few levels
-Taps out at level 7
