The Mummy

"I can't believe ya both got a prize for your video! What even was it for?" Mammon shrieked in annoyance.

"Apparently someone," MC paused looking to Levi, "thought it would be a good idea to turn the video for our human studies project into a documentary and enter it into RAD's film festival."

Levi blushed and looked down. "Well, you can't blame me! It's your fault we ended up in a tomb. Besides, at least we got to see a live mummy!"

MC smacked the back of his head. "Only because you decided to read aloud from that book! All because of an anime you watched."

After a few minutes of watching MC and Levi ensue in their petty squabble, Lucifer interjected. "Enough, you two."

MC and Levi paused their argument and shrunk back into their seats, resigned.

"Can we watch the documentary?" Beel asked.

"Seriously?" MC challenged, confused.

Beel nodded and stood. "I'll go get snacks!"

Before anyone could object Beel dashed out of the living room and into the kitchen. Soon enough, the smell of Hell Popcorn wafted through the house. When he returned he had over 100 bags of popcorn as well as drinks and candies.

"I guess it's movie night," Asmo stated nonchalantly.

Everyone settled in and prepared to see the shenanigans of MC and Levi. As the film cut on, petty squabbling could be heard and the camera went in and out of focus, until, finally, the two determined their path within the tomb of an ancient Egyptian Pharoah.

"Alright, Levi. Let's go this way," MC instructed.

"Why do you get to decide?"

"Because you can't make decisions quick enough. Now, come on," they insisted.

Levi followed MC, camera in tow. "Woaaahh, this is just like the anime I watched called 'I Meant to go to a Museum, but Ended Up in a Tomb with my Roommate and Now We are Running for Our Lives Because a Mummy Came Back from the Dead."

MC paused and turned back to Levi and chuckled. "What is with you and animes with ridiculously long titles? Whatever happened to InuYasha or Attack on Titan?"

"I've watched those too," Levi argued.

"Okay, just checking. Let's keep going. Maybe we can find a way out of here."

"Or, maybe we'll find the sarcophagus with a mummy inside!" Levi bounced with excitement, making the camera blur.

"I would rather find a way out of the tomb. I wish I could try to teleport us out but I'm exhausted. Maybe after a little bit, I can try again."

"Don't push yourself too hard. You are new at the whole magic thing," Levi sympathized.

"Yeah, I guess so."

Levi and MC continued walking through the tomb. Occasionally, they paused to look at the hieroglyphics along the walls or empty rooms that appeared as dead ends to their travels.

Eventually, they made their way to an occupied room. From floor to ceiling, the walls were adorned with gold and countless treasures. MC and Levi stood in amazement at all the intricacies of the burial room. As curiosity got the best of them, they both began to explore the room.
