Pains

It was that time of the month again, and you could almost swear that each one was becoming more painful than the last. You could feel that you were in a mood, and tried not to let your emotions get to you, but that never lasted long. You could feel the bad cramps already stabbing your lower stomach as you were up in the middle of the night, going through your things as you were trying to find your personal heating pad. This of course had woken up Loki, and he got out of bed carefully to turn the light on. "Whatever you're looking for, you can see it easier with the light on.." Even though he was right, you were already sniffling with teary eyes. "I-I know, but you were sleeping and I was trying not to wake you up... I just want to find my heater.."
Coming over to you, Loki gently rubbed your back and easily found the heating pad for you. "You don't have to be embarrassed to ask me each time this happens, my love. We've been together long enough for me to know the times and signs of your Monthly Midgardian Menstruation." You wipe your eyes, sniffling more but smiling a bit. "Please don't say it like that. It sounds fancier than it should ever be.."
Kissing the top of your head, Loki helps you up. "How bad are your pains right now?" "L-like... Maybe a six out of ten, but we should go back to sleep." "You'll be tossing and turning without any comfort if you don't take medicine. And I'll make you some iced tea and a bowl of instant ramen." Hugging  him, you rest against him. "You're the best.." "I know." Chuckling, Loki gently rocks you before letting you go back to bed, and heads into the kitchen.

You end up staying awake for two extra hours, enjoying the ramen and iced tea with Loki while watching Jurassic Park. "I wish I could pet Parasaurolophus, it's one of the cuter dinosaurs." "I'd feel safer if you were to pet a regular house dog, Y/N."
Once the medicine hit you and helped calm your pains, you were out again. Loki gently ran his fingers through your hair as you slept, sighing as he had been slightly booted due to the heating pad and Nuka being squeezed close in your arms. Deciding to do something that would help your mood in the morning, he took your phone carefully and messed around with it, without waking you.

Once you had actually woken up for the day, you were in a mellowed mood. Having taken an extra long shower and putting on dark clothing, you found yourself nibbling on a piece of toast. Loki had told you earlier about Thor needing his help on something, and that he'd be back as soon as possible, so you were kind of alone. You didn't want to go down a level into the lounge and deal with anyone, so you were going to go up to the roof instead.
At least, you had hoped to. The weather was supposed to be slightly cloudy with a small chance of rain, but it was now a torrential downpour and thundering. Sighing heavily, you rubbed your stomach in pain. "Please stop cramping so bad. I'm not even doing anything to make you so upset." You whimper, grabbing a couple of pillows. Putting them on the floor in front of the tv, you grab the covers and your phone next and go to lay down on the floor. Flipping through a few channels, you decide to watch a marathon of Hoarders. During the show, you open your phone up, and blink as the wallpaper is of Loki staring into the camera. Turning red, you smile and look through your phone, and find out that he's taken at least twenty separate photos. "That dork.." You mumble, but you can't stop the full on smile that's making your cheeks hurt and lifting your mood.
Giggling, you curl up and start to make a small music video collage. As you're trying to find a good song, you're so into what you're doing that you haven't even heard Loki coming back in. Humming along to the song Need to Know by Doja Cat, you squeal in surprise as Loki speaks up. "Very catchy, your taste in music has changed again." Quickly trying to stop the music, you squeal again as Loki snatches your phone and turns the volume up completely, embarrassing you. "Your eyes told me, 'Girl come ride me'.. Ooh, I love that line." Covering your face, you shake your head shyly. "You're not supposed to hear that." Grinning, Loki gives you back your phone and pats your hip gently. "Keep the song, and I've gotten some things for you."
Taking your phone, you blink and sit up carefully, looking over to see that Loki went on a goodies trip for you. The correct feminine hygiene products you were almost out of, different snacks, chocolate confectioneries, Arizona drinks, and a huge 30 ounce fresh cold smoothie. Gasping happily, you act like a small child and reach out for the smoothie. Laughing, Loki hands it to you. "Yay! Strawberry Explosion with extra kiwi juice, thank you!"
Kissing Loki softly, you smile happily and let him join you on the tv binging and snack sharing.
Disgustingly intrigued by the show, Loki shudders a bit. "Midgardians are truly something, even in the worst of ways."

The next three days go by bumpy, but you're just glad that it's about over as you used the days wisely to practice your magic skills. You're already in bed and sleeping heavily, as Loki is reading one of the books that you had picked out from the library. It was called Unwind by Neal Shusterman, the first book in a small series, and Loki was immersed in the story.
You start talking softly in your sleep, distracting Loki as he hears your words. "No coming out... Emergency only... You might... Trouble.." placing a bookmark in the chapter he's reading, Loki moves and carefully kisses the top of your head before he reads your mind.

You're sitting on the ground, having a circle drawn around yourself as you're speaking to the fairy that came out of your chest before. "Yes, I mean trouble. Like big trouble too, not little pranks." The fairy floated upside down in front of you, tilting her head. "You're only saying that cause your boyfriend said it. I'm not any trouble at all!" You shake your head. "I'm saying it because I trust him, and the fact that he's got 500 years minimum on experience with magic and magical beings alike. And also, you are. If I were to let you out, you'd get a lot more mischievous than I could handle, and your mischievous moments make me feel sick. So in the end, you'd get trapped back in me and I'd get like.. The flu times ten." The fairy whined a bit, floating down to sit on your lap. "But I'm not the one that causes nightmares and stuff. I'm really powerful and I can be of help." You watch her, gently patting her head. "You and Darkness will need to get along first.. she's really the one that you should be speaking with, and.. well... If something were to happen in the future and I needed you at your full strength, I'd appreciate you being able to help when that time comes. Does that make sense?" The fairy looked up to you, her wings fluttering. "I guess. What will I get in return if I do end up being needed?" "Um... Well, I'm not sure. I guess the freedom, but you'd have to behave."  Huffing, she nods and floats back up. "Okay. And I want like... A lot of sugar too." You relax, smiling. "Alright, it's a deal."

Loki moves back as your conversation with the fairy ends, smiling softly and relaxing before he goes back to reading. "One less problem to deal with.."
