(A/N: was going to be a random one shot, but my brain has made it into a connection to the other parts (not including Sakaar.)).

You sighed quietly as everyone was gone once again, stirring a spoon in a cup of tea you had made earlier. You know that the team still has convictions against Loki despite his help with missions, it was evident when you would be the one to catch them throwing looks at Loki's back whenever they had returned. It's not like he didn't know, but his personality would switch on a whim so fast. There'd be impassive scowls, or quick witted and low blow quips he'd deliver to them whenever they decided to give him a problem on how he handled things.

This time he was with just a few of them (Nat, Barton, Rogers, and Stark) as everyone else was either back home or doing other things outside of the tower proximity, which meant this mission would take a heavier toll. You had at least hoped Thor would have shown up, but he was off planet on Asgard. You lean your head back some as you hoped Loki was okay.

He'd never leave you alone with them when he did, often dragging you with him from the room in the manner a child would with their favorite toy or safety blanket.

You didn't mind, but it hurt you when they hurt his feelings. You had stood up to them before, defending Loki from their words. It was all you could do, seeing as how they could quickly whip something out on you about your own low level performances.

You at least knew that Peter and Bucky (when he wasn't the one who was upset) didn't treat Loki like the others did.

Shaking your head, you sip your tea and get out of bed, thinking. If today was going to end in the same manner, you'd at least have a nice bubble bath and a brand new tea brewed for Loki. And maybe even a few new books for him to read. And a movie. And his own plushie. And his favorite food!

Whoops, you got yourself excited for this.

Grabbing your pack after dressing in clothes that would have you blend into a crowd easily enough, you leave Stark Tower.

Checking your phone after you've been out a while to pick the best things you thought Loki would truly enjoy, you gape. "Three whole hours? I need to get back." Shuffling carefully, you slip your phone into your pocket before readjusting your grip on the multiple different bags you've acquired, smiling happily to yourself.

Standing carefully in the elevator, you can't help but to glance at the security guard who's going up with you. He's got his back to you as he's standing in front of you, and you can only wonder if it's just Tony upping physical security.

Blinking as the lights flicker in the elevator, you become a bit nervous, and somewhat claustrophobic. Being stuck in an elevator was one of your fears-

Shaking your head quickly, you sigh to yourself before looking to the floor you were on. Level 18. You hated how long it took to get up literally 93 floors!

When the elevator stopped, you carefully straightened up as two more people in suits entered the elevator, and one pressed the button for floor 20. Not even a moment later you were squished in the middle of five people in suits, and their silence had made you uncomfortable.

Watching as the button for the very top floor was pressed, you realize that the floor you were supposed to stop on isn't glowing anymore. Had you forgotten to press it? How awkward.

Biting your lip, you carefully try to squeeze past them with your arm extended. "S-Sorry, I forgot to--"

Your eyes widen in surprise as you find a cloth getting pressed against your nose and mouth, but you lean your head back quickly without breathing in to avoid the obvious chloroform trap.
