Being alone with Loki on private land... Or an island.. wherever it was, it was indeed peaceful. But, you were being chaotic today, per Loki's wishes.

You were manifesting a cloud as large as you could, a bead of sweat rolling down your forehead as it was proving harder to do than you thought. The cloud was insanely dense, and didn't get more than a few feet above the top of your head. Your hands were shaking as if you were holding something that weighed half a ton.

Loki was watching as he stood back, your new phone in his hand as he was timing you, and it had already been three hours of you holding the cloud up solidly. "The longer you can hold it, the easier it will be later on." Only able to nod, you stretch your arms up fully to keep the cloud above you, Loki studying you. He had read about many different forms of magic and studied thousands of books, but he couldn't pinpoint the actual base of where your magic had truly come from. As there were so many options, so many different types of dark magic, he thought carefully about what could really be pertained to you. Shadow manipulation, voodoo, soul bonding, and dark summoning rituals. There was also the black mirror theory, a portal that could be used by even the most normal Midgard if they had the right items.

He focused on you again as you were losing your strength, until you fell to your knees and dropped your arms in exhaustion. The dark cloud came down just as heavy, and Loki watched with intrigued eyes as the ground shook where you were, but didn't hurt you in any way. The darkness disappeared into you again like always, and Loki stopped the timer before he went over to you.
You breathed carefully under your heavy panting, and could feel your mouth moistening more than you'd like, but you swallowed back the urge to vomit. Rubbing your back, Loki watched you. "You aren't regurgitating your breakfast, so that's good progress if I do say so myself."

You nod carefully, sighing slowly and hanging your head low. "I... I just wish this was a bit easier. Or at least know how I actually came across this.. Darkness said how she manifested, but how was I even an actual vessel?" So, you were concerned about this just as much as he was. Loki moved behind you, running his hands up and down your arms slowly to cool you down. "It could have been by random selection, if not a decision that your birth parents were for, until they weren't."

Even though it was still a touchy subject for you, you push the feeling of depressed notions back. "The ritual thing.. There's never been any like.. symbols that I can remember seeing though, so maybe we have to do something.. well, risky." You sigh heavily and rub your forehead. "We could get ideas from movies, like Carrie or one of those Paranormal Activity movies. At least to help narrow down the options." You continue, and your mind instantly goes towards the latter. "We shouldn't mix fiction with real magic, but perhaps you're right. For now though, let's get you washed up and dressed in some clean clothes."

After a nice shower with Loki, you're looking at your hair as it's gotten longer than you had ever had it, and you softly rub the split ends between your fingers. "I should cut this... I've never had it get this long before..." You mumble, before you start looking yourself over even more. You had dark spots under your eyes, and you had definitely lost weight again. You look down at yourself instead of using the mirror, and lift your towel to check on your tatas. "At least these are okay..--!" You squeak as Loki undoes your towel with one simple flick, and quickly grab it before it can hit the ground. "Loki!" "We were just showering together, my dear. You fascinate me with your cute reactions."
"B-but the sudden cold wind when you do that!"

You bite your lip as you realize what you say, and look up to see Loki watching with a serious face, but there's amusement in his eyes. "Do you not like a sudden cool touch?" "W-What? I-i meant that.. c-cause it's --!" You squeal as Loki squeezed your hips, shivering as he's making his touch extra cold. "L-Loki!" "You make sounds of protest, but your body enjoys my touch." You couldn't think of any argument against him, and wrap the towel back around yourself. "A-Anyway, what's the plan?" As you ask this, Loki takes it upon himself to give your hair a clean cut, and has it all evened up in no time before he's tying it back into a low ponytail for you. "Well, I think you can go into this little quaint village with me. There shouldnt be anyone there that knows who either of us are. And between you and me, that sounds like the most splendid tranquility we've had in quite a while." You blink quickly. "Village? Wait, are we still near actual civilization?" "Yes? You honestly didn't think I'd go completely out on survival mode alone in some heavily wooded area, did you?" Your cheeks burn, and you look away. It would explain the random house, but you kinda thought that you were doing a whole cabin in the woods, minus the murders and other people.
