There were so many things that you had done right after waking up.
Training with Bucky, Steve, and Sam. (Really just jogging to get your stamina built up first, you and Sam were definitely on the same level with the super soldiers running multiple laps around the both of you.)
Training with Thor and Loki. (Thor was becoming adamant about you using a staff with your magical ability, and you only agreed to it to avoid Loki stabbing him out of annoyance.) "I'll do it, Thor. But you do know that the main reason I'm having trouble is because of how dark-, my magic, is starting to act when Im using the staff with it, right?" Thor looks at you cluelessly and you sigh, picking up the staff. It was the same one you had been gifted during the month of training at the lodge, and was still broken in half. So technically, you had two mini staffs until you added your magic to it. As you held a piece in each hand, you focused the small percent of magic that you could into both of them and extended your arms out. Black smoke oozed out of the broken ends and acted like a sudden strong magnet, slamming both of the open ends of the staff together. Once together however, the staff began to shake terribly until you let go, and broke in half all over again. Once the smoke disappeared into you, the pieces were a bit more cracked and useless looking. "What was that?" "I don't know, but it hurts to hold two sticks vibrating that bad. Which is why I don't want to bother with the staff. So I'm going with the theory that wood is a no no for containing my powers." "Loki, you can't help with that?" "If I could, don't you think I would have done so already? If anything you've gifted her a shoddy training weapon." "Then I'll get a different one. Metal." "No, I'm not getting electrocuted, Thor." "I'll get padding on the handle." "... Fine, but if I get shocked, I'm allowing Loki to stab you."
Training with Nat was the last thing for the day, which you were kind of surprised by, but you agreed to it. Standing in a boxing ring, you rub the bandages meant to keep your hands safe. "I guess we never really get to have a conversation or interaction, Y/N. So today this will be just us, no men." You chuckled nervously. "Alright, but minimal damage please? I'm pretty sure they call you Black Widow for an exact reason." Nat hums and shrugs, rolling her eyes a bit. "Depends on the tone they use if they get to know me. Ready?" "I think-"
You were not, at least not completely. As you both boxed, Nat asked questions effortlessly. "How do you trust Loki so much even with his body count?" "Well, I-- I'm not that trusting of a person either, especially with strangers--, but I have never felt any actual malice or ill intention from him. Hes-- Had plenty of chances to hurt, maim, or even kill me in more ways than one. And besides, I can ask the same of you all, why I have to trust you.-- You all have body counts, too, and you can say it's out of the greater good--- But, I'm pretty sure causing any kind of death is looked down upon. And I have one, now, so despite how very miniscule it is, I'm also in the category of killer. Self defense or not." "That's pretty insightful. So, onto another topic. This cult that you've unintentionally been put into, have you been working on why or how to deal with it all?" "Y-Yea, I have. But all I can do now is train--- Train my skills enough to pick up on threats." "What about your background?" "U-uh, well.. I haven't gotten to that fully.--"
Finding yourself on the ground, you groan and hold your face some. "Sorry about that." Helping you to sit up, Nat sits down in front of you. Rubbing your cheek carefully, you sigh. "My face is going to swell, isn't it?" "Not really, what were you going to say?" "Oh. I did what I could and all, but there were no living relatives on either side of my parents' families. But, I do have an inheritance that I haven't looked at yet.." Nat raises an eyebrow. "You have an inheritance?" You nod, looking down. "Yeah but.. I don't know if I want it." "Why not?" "C... Cause I haven't gone there yet." "You inherited a place?" "Yeah.." "And you're still living with Tony?" "Just for now.." "Have you told Loki about it?" "... He knows about the inheritance, just not what." "What's stopping you from getting it before the bank or whatever seizes it?" You sigh slowly. "I'm... I'm just kinda scared." "Y/N, the sooner you deal with it the better. You've had enough training today anyway."
