Chapter 49: Promposal

Laura's POV

"...There's was balloons all over my room! I mean it was the sweetest thing ever!"

Becky just finished telling us the story on how Austin prom-posed to her and it was to damn adorable

Me & the girls were just hanging out in my room, prom was already to days from now and Ross hasn't even asked me yet

I think I was a little to harsh letting him down in his way of supposedly asking me to it

But it was so lame! I mean to be honest I sometimes imagined how'd I'd be asked

I let out a huge sigh and plopped myself on the bed

Ari's going with Jai
Tori's going with Luke
Raini's going with Calum
Becky's going with Austin
Then Maia and David finally hooked up

"Aye Laura, what's up?" Maia asks in a worried voice

"Yea, you've been quite down today" Ariana says

"It's because Mr. Lynch hasn't asked her yet!" Becky says with a small smirk

Well she's technically right

Tori walks over to the bed and plops her self beside me

"Laur, cmon he's Ross Lynch...he always has his ways"

Well she's right, He does find a way for everything... But why does he have to take so long

"But guys, he should've asked by now! I mean it's prom in two days!"

Wow Raini, really, you did not have to point that out

Suddenly out of the blue I heard my phone vibrate on my study desk. My eyes widen and jumped out of my bed quickly as I grab my phone

"Hold your horses girl!" Maia laughs out

I sat back down on my bed and opened up to see who it was

Please be Ross, please be Ross

Oh god Laura what's wrong with you right now, I say to my self as I give my self a mental face palm

R: baaaabbbbbbeeeeeee!!!!

I giggled when I saw it was him. He never gets over the fact that he calls me babe sometimes. Like he gets excited as it's adorable

Tori smirks and says "Is that Ross?"

I smile and said "Maybe" in a playful voice

L: whaaaaaaaat
R: what you doin' around let's see 8pm?
L: well um...the girls are here so
R: alright so come meet me in the Light House at Miami beach!
L: I just told you that the girls were here
R: see you then baaaaaaabee <3
L: •-•"

I let out another huge sigh and plopped my self on the bed once again

"What's the matter this time?" Ari asks "Ross told me to meet him up later at 8pm" I say

Becky takes a look over to the clock as her eyes widen

"Hurry the fuck up, it's already 7:30" She says. "I can't just leave you guys here!" I say

Maia lets out a smirk and says "Tell us how it goes"

I let out a confused expression because it looks like she knows what's going on

"Well I have no choice, do I?" I say

They all let out a small laugh as I grab my neon 'Nike Air Max's' and put on.

I was wearing a black tank top and black tight. I throw in a grey hoodie and I head out

"I'll be back! There's food in the fridge" I say to my friends as they nod in assurance

Maia still had that smirk on her face as if she new what was going on

I'm sweaty as fuck after walking hella stairs going up the light house since the elevator was broken

When I got up I saw Ross relaxingly looking at the view while I'm here looking like a sweaty big

He looks behind him as he started to chuckle, obviously at my appearance

"Hey babe" he says while trying not to laugh

"Hey to you too, Mr. I'm gonna let my girlfriend walk hell lot of stairs until she looks like a sweaty pig" "#1 Boyfriend" I say sarcastically

"Aw cmon Laur, come look at the view with me" he says. "That's all you wanted to do? Look at the view?" I ask

Hinting the fact he hasn't asked me to prom yet.

"Yea" he says blankly

I looked down while I let out a soft sigh, chuckles and lifts my chin up to see the view

"It's beautiful isn't it?" He says

Suddenly a plane was forming some words with the clouds

I was reading it and it formed up to

'Laura Marie Marano, I think it'd be awesome if you'd be my prom date, will you?'

I was blushing like a tomato as I started hearing Ross play song on his guitar

*Ross sings the chorus of 'Marry You by Bruno Mars'*

He puts his guitar down and let's out a small smile

"So what do you think, I know it's to early to get married but whatta about prom?"

I smiled and pulled him towards me as our lips crashed together while it moved in perfect sync

I let go and say "What do you think?"

He smiles and kisses me again and obviously I kiss back

Sadly our kiss had to come to an end

We were still looking at the sunset as he chuckled and said "Bet you were so worried that I wouldn't ask you huh?"

I rolled my eyes "Psh...whatever, this made up on your first attempt to ask me!"

"You know I'm bad at this!" He whines.

I smile and say "Even so, you never fail to surprise me"

I finally updated after almost a month!
Sorry I was loosing so much imputation bc of rourtney (shitney)

But I'm back because #RAURA2023 and I'm gonna sink with this fucking ship
