Chapter 18: Date

Laura's POV

It's already 4:30 pm and I'm figuring out what to wear.

I just got done showering and I'm in the middle of a 'girl crisis' if that makes sense.

I decided to wear a white lace strapless crop top and a jumper.

I add on some accessories and start doing my hair.

I curled my hair in bottom as I add on a fedora hat.

I add on some light make up.

I put on my white converse and grab my brown sling bag. I slip in my Polaroid camera just incase

I head down stairs as I see Vanessa's eyes widen.

"Sis. You're looking adorable!!!" She exclaims. "I'm flattered!" I say. "Well you should be!" She adds.

"It's already 5:45. What time is he picking you up?" She asks. "Well he should by now!" I exclaim.

Speaking of him.

There he is.

I hear his car honking as I get up and head out.

"BE SAFE!!!!" Vanessa yelled.

I went out and walk towards Ross' car.

He opens the door for me as I sat down.

"So where we going?" I ask. "You'll see!" He smirks out.

"So how are you feeling?" He asks me. "Like right now?" I reply. "Yeah..." He smirks out. "Hoping you won't kidnap me and you and Joker aren't secretly working together!" I laugh out. He shakes his and and says "you're such a dork." "Wow thanks!" I say rolling my eyes. "Laur. Your adorkable!!!" He insists. "Awh you think I'm adorable?!" I smirk out. "I said adorkable!" He exclaims. "What ever Ross!" I say.

Ross' POV

After 20 min of driving we finally get here.

The beach!

"We are here Mil Lady!" I say in a weird fancy tone.

I open the door for Laura as she got down from the car.

"I love the beach!" I hear her say. "I knew you'd like it." I confidently spoke. "Not bad for your first date!" She laughs out. I roll my eyes as we continue walking up to the shore.

We put a blanket down the sand so we could sit down.

I brought out my pick nick basket and put it down.

"Oooo what are we having??" He asks excitedly. "Well I brought up some fruits since you're a girl and you're probably watching your diet!" I say. She rolls her eyes and says "you shoulda brought some McDonald!!" She exclaims. "Wow that's a first!" I say surprised. "How many times do I have to tell you I'm not like most girls?" She smirks.

I smile.

I know she's not.

We start eating as I say "let's play a game!!!" "Hahah okay! What is it?" "We shoot the grapes in each-others mouths one by one and the one with the most shoots wins!!" I exclaim. "What do we get out of it?" She asks. "Loser gets a henna tattoo of winners choice!!" "deal!" She says confidentially.

"I go first!!!" She says in a cute way. I open my mouth as she starts shooting the grapes in.

She tosses the sixth one as it lands on my nose.

"Hahaha! Beat that Shor!" She laughs out. "Oh yeah?!" I exclaim.

I go over to her and start tickling her.

"HAHAHHAHAHA Ross stop!!" She exclaims.

I stop tickling her as she says "you're such a doosh!!" "An amazing one!" I say. She rolls we eyes as I say "MY TURN!!"

She opens her mouth as I start throwing the grapes

Oops I made a mistake.

She's laughs as she yells "looser!!!!"

I get a hand full of grapes a throw it at her.

"Who's the loser now?" I ask. "EXCUSE ME!" She says.

She gets up and starts chasing me. We kept laughing and laughing. I grabbed her from behind and carried her.

"Gotcha!" I exclaim.

"ROSS PUT ME DOWN!!!!" She giggles.

I put her down on the blanket as I sit down as well.

"You're crazy Shor!" She yells. "You're CRAZIER!!!" I ramble. She pushes me in the arm as I sarcastically say "ouch. Laura you're too strong!!"

She rolls her eyes as she says "time to get the tattoo!!"

UGH

This is what I get from making a bet I won't win.

We get to the henna area as they ask where I want it.

"So where should I put it?" I ask Laura. "On your arm!!!" She giggles.

"Make it in small cursive letters as it says 'Laura Marie Marano is better than me'!!!" She adds up.

"Seriously?!" I say. She laughs and nods.

As the henna artist got done he says "you guys are too cute!"

Wow he's gay.

I smile as we head back to our camp site.

We sit down on the blanket and started talking.

"Things I do!" I say while showing the tattoo. "Not my fault!!" She laughs out.

The sun was setting as Laura's head was rested on my chest. My arms were wrapped around her.

She turns and looks at me. I was leaning in and she was too. The closer our lips got she just headed out to kiss my forehead.

Wow Laura.

Well we only made out once and I can't wait for more.

Laura brings out her Polaroid and took a picture of the view.

"Well I think I should head home!" She says. "Yeah okay! This was really fun Laur!" I say. "I know!" She says as she kisses me on the cheek.

Ross drove Laura back home. They were singing along to the radio. Ross admired Laura and complemented on her voice. Laura got to her house as she exchanged goodbyes with Ross. As she got in she greeted her sister and went straight up to her room.

Laura's POV

I'm in my room.

Thinking about today's events.

I think I like him.

WAIT NO

NO I DONT

UGH WHATEVER.

LAURA BE SMART!!! I tell my self.

Ross' POV

I'm in my room as I'm currently thinking.

I can't be falling for Laura!

Actually I'm not.

Ugh

I don't even know.
