Chapter 36: Long Way Home

For chemistry class they were taken to the other side of town in Miami. (1hr by plane & 5hrs by car) The Chen teacher choose 20 of his students to the join the trip (schools paying for the plane trip). Coincidentally Ross and Laura are 2 of the 20 and also forced as partners.

Now Ross and Laura accidentally got left behind because Ross was to busy looking at something and Laura lost sight of him. But when she finally found him everyone has already boarded for the plane.

Ross POV:

"THEY LEFT US THEY FUCKING LEFT US!!!!" Laura practically yelled as we walked out of the Miami Science museum.

"You're the worst partner ever you know that!!!" She continued.

Me and Laura were paired up and it's been going on and off.

We almost either argued or ignored each other the whole time.

At times we ditch each other but it came to this.

"Calm down for a sec okay. I have a plan!" I say as we took a seat near on the bench in front of the museums fountain.

"Oh sure Mr. Lynch has a master plan!" She says sarcastically.

"Just trust me okay!" I whine.

"Tsk that's the last thing I'll do" she spat out. "Out of all the times we had to be partners! And you had to look at that ameba!!" She continued.

"Would you relax! God Laura. I just texted my brother Ryland! He's sending a car to us so we could use it to get back home." I say as I roll my eyes.

"You have a brother from the other side of Miami?" She asks.

"Well yeah. He goes to school here. He's actually the youngest! You see I have my connections all over town!" I smirk out.

She chuckles as rolls her eyes "whatever man. you're the one who got us here in the first place!"

"That's it!!" I say as I point to the blue mini van.

Me and Laura walked over to it as the driver gave us the keys.

I opened the door for Laura as see got in and I got in the drivers seat.

a/n: Laura's wearing a grey knit pullover with a pink Floyd band tee underneath with some ripped shorts and black converse.

We buckle up as I start the engine.

"So how long is this gonna take I ask?" Laura asks as I back up the car.

"5hrs!" I say.

Her eyes widen as we get on the road. "ARE YOU SERIOUS! MY PHONES DEAD AND IM STUCK WITH YOU FOR 5HRS?!?!!!" She exclaimed.

"Calm down 3hrs today and the next 2 tomorrow. We can't be driving at night too late." I say.

"Great" she again sarcastically says.

"We can spend the night here in the car in this area. trust me it's safe I've been a here a couple times..." I say with a forcing smile.

Laura groans a little bit and rubs her eyes. She's been sleeping for the past 3 hours.

"What time is it?" She says as she stretches her arm up a bit.

"8pm" I say.

She yawns and says "is there anything we could do? Might as well do something fun even if it means being with you."
