Laura's POV
After a week of getting settled I'm finally done decorating my room. I've kind of gotten used to the idea of Miami. Still missing everyone in LA like crazy.
"LAURA! TIME FOR LUNCH!!!" Vanessa screams from downstairs. "COMING" I yell out as I run downstairs.
"I cooked carbonara!" My dad says. "Mmmm so good!" I say. My dad is the best chef in the world!
"Are you excited for school tomorrow?" My mom says. "Not really" I sigh. "Cmon its gonna be great! You'll meet new boys!" Vanessa says. I laugh as my dad gave Vanessa a stern look.
I'm a senior. I have only one year left I guess I have to make the most of it.
- after lunch -
"Mom! Imma go to target and buy school stuff!" I say. "You sure you know how to get there?" She asks. "I'll take the bus!" I say. "Okay Honey! Be safe!" She replies.
I wear some skinny jeans and a tank. I add on a purple hoodie and throw in some earrings on my different ear piercings.
I put on some vans and walk out to the bus station.
I get in the bus, since the bus was full I had to sit next to a dude with blonde hair and some piercings. He was cute.
"Hey I'm Luke" he says. "I'm Laura" I reply. We talk for a little until I got to target.
We exchanged numbers before I left.
First friend! Yay.
I get in target an grab some school supplies and a mint blue jansport bag back.
I headed out to the cashier and bought the stuff. "45.25" she says. I bring out some money and pay her.
I walk back to the bus station and head back home.
