Chapter 11: Well Played

Ross' POV

I wake up as I see Laura not beside me. I'm still wearing my cloths too.

All I know is that we only made out.

I get up as I see a note on my desk it says "this was fun. See you in school :)"

I see what's going on here.

She thinks that she can play me too. Well played Marano but you haven't seen the best of me. She might've won this round but I'll still get the last word.

I receive a text message from Justin.

J: bro lets hang?

R: sure where?

J: Pizza Parlor at downtown

R: k bro I'm omw

J: see you and btdubz I'm bringing the boys

R: ok see you there

I change and then drive to the Pizza Parlor.

I get there as I see my homies waiting for me.

"Hey Ross Bro!" Cody says. "Hey ya'll!" I say. We chill as we talk about usual guy stuff.

"So Ross how does Marano taste like?"Austin asks while smirking. "Dude we only got to 2nd base!" I sighed. "Awh Man we could go get laid later tonight!" Justin laughed out. "Nah man. I'm not giving up just yet." I smirk out. "What do you mean?" Louis asks me. "Ms. Marano thinks she can play my games. Well let's see about that!" I say. We all laughed.

The waitress is hottie.

Maybe this'll make up for yesterday.

But nah. I'll not get it on with another girl until I win over Laura. That's my little challenge to myself.

Laura's POV

It's about 2pm as I got a text message from Luke

LH: hey Laura. Um.. Wanna come to bands band practice?

L: okay sure. What time? :)

LH: an hour from now

L: Kk just text me the address.

Luke texted me the address as I got ready.

I put on a navy blue tank top and some shorts. I grab my black converse as I put them on. I get a gray pull over and wore it over my tank.

I put my hair into a messy bun and add in some light make up.

I head down stairs and say "hey guys I'm going over to a friends house! Be back in 3hrs!" "Be safe!" My mom and Dad say.

I grab my bike and I go to Luke's place.

As I got to there house I could here music playing in the back yard.

I go there and I see Luke and other guys performing.

He see's me while singing "She looks so perfect standing there..."

I blushed and said "hey!"

"Hey Laura! This is Calum,Ashton and Michael!" He exclaimed. "Hey guys."

We hang out for a little as the guys left me and Luke talked for awhile.

"So, you and Ross?" He asks me.

I smile and start explaining everything.

"Wow man!" He laughed out.

"Did you know me and Ross used to be so close but then sophomore year he changed." He tells me. "What do you mean?" I ask. "He became full of him self and let pier pressure take over him" he tells me. "And he use to be in the band called R5 with is brothers,a family friend and his sister." He continued. "What made him stop?" I ask. "He just shut music out I guess." He sighed. "He's a really good guy if you get to know him. He might've stopped being friend but I didn't stop being his." "Oh wow. btw your band... Um 5SOS? Right. They're pretty awesome!" I say. "I know right!" He replies. I roll my eyes as I give out my last goodbyes.

I bike back home and start to think.

Wow Ross' doesn't sound that bad at all.

Well he's a different person now.

If only he was who he was before.

I would hella dig him.
