Chapter 4

Wednesday April 6 2022

Unlike yesterday, today was very eventful. It was my teacher's birthday. SO! The most eventful thing that happened was at lunch recess. I was just hanging out with Emma and another friend (fake name: Sky). We went over to the to the peace garden (which is where literally our entire class is). We went over to assist another friend (her fake name is Theo. It was her request) with a therapy session since she became the class therapist. Yes, she does therapy at school. So yeah, we helped her with that. Then Theo forced ME to do a therapy session with her. I sat down while her and Sky asked me questions. Somehow, the questions moved to John, and they were trying to get me to talk to him (even though I didn't want to). They called him over and I just ran away. After John left, I went back. That was probably a bad idea. They called him over AGAIN, and this time, they wouldn't let me escape. So I just put my head down and was like "UUUUUGGGGHHHHH". Then John said to me, "I'm genuinely sorry you have to deal with this" He sounded very robotic. Then he left and Amber started talking about class ships. Very loudly. I don't really remember what she said except that apparently, the "Power Couple" was John and I (context, people have been shipping us for a while). UGHH! So then Theo was harassing me and I literally started screaming. Theo said she was glad people were supporting (Insert ship name here which I'm not going to out because that doesn't need to be on Wattpad). Then when the bell rang, Amber and one of her other friends came up to me and asked if I thought they were bullying me or something. I said "No...." in a confused tone. Then Amber said something about how John said something about them bullying me in grade 4. Um, WHAT? Then she said to me, "He's protecting you". That line has been stuck in my head for the entire day. I JUST DON'T GET WHAT'S GOING ON!

Thursday April 7 2022

Today someone left an envelope full of hearts in Lucas's desk. I have a few guesses on who did it. I actually am wondering who it was. Anyway, that's not all that happened today. We played soccer in gym today. I was on a really bad team. John was on my team. Ugh. I'm on his team for like 70% of gym activities. It's annoying. We lost every single game we played. And we only scored one goal. Not in one game, out of ALL the games we played. I scored it btw. My entire team was happy when I scored and John gave me a fist bump. It's really sad how bad we were though. 

Friday April 8 2022

Today was another normal school day. Today John announced that he doesn't like Eva anymore. I wasn't shocked. It seems like every other day he likes someone new. It's also just rude. Like, what if one of the girls he liked also liked him? And then the next week he announces that he's moved on to someone else. What a jerk.

Monday April 11 2022

Today I'm not going to school. Because I'm sick. My throat hurts and I have a stomachache. I'm going to try to be very consistent with my journaling because I really want to finish this journal. I already have a new one I'm planning on using next. For now, I'm going to try to keep up with writing every day, It's going to be really cool for future me to look back on these pages and see the stuff that happened in my life.

Wednesday April 14 2022

Today was a good day. We went on a nature walk during school. Also, I'M GOING TO TRY OUT FOR THE SCHOOL SOCCER TEAM! Along with other people in my class, of course. I hope I make it. Maybe I won't. Sky and I were talking today and we concluded two things:

a) Boys are stupid

b) When John and I were friends, that's when he liked me. After grade 4, since I didn't like him back, he ghosted me.

That's Sky's theory and I totally agree.

Thursday April 14 2022

Today was/is the last day of school before the Easter long weekend. I also found out that soccer team tryouts are next Tuesday. I really need to practice this weekend.

We went back to school today. Nothing really happened except that we started European Handball in gym. I'm really bad at it. Or maybe I should have been on a different team. There were three people on my team who only passed to each other, so I barely did anything. Same with Sky, she was also on my team.

Sorry that my entries have been so short and that I've been falling behind. I have other STUFF to do besides journal. Today we had school. That happens almost EVERY day. Nothing super interesting happened. Also, I only have about a quarter left of this journal! I started this last year, and it's almost been an entire year.

Today my sister was being annoying. Actually, she's annoying all the time. Today, however, she was more annoying than usual. So it started at lunch recess. The girls in my class were playing volleyball, and then I see my sister standing at her classroom window while eating her popcorn. I went up to the window and mouthed "Go away" to her. Of course, she didn't listen. Then some of her friends came over to the window as well and were making faces and stuff. A few people from my class noticed, but no matter how many times I told my sister and her stupid friends to go away, they didn't. In the end, her class got mad at my class, closed the window, and left us rude messages on whiteboards. We didn't even do anything! It's all my sister's fault and I'm so annoyed. On a better note, soccer tryouts are tomorrow. I still don't think I'm going to make it, but I'll try anyway. Also I have gym tomorrow. We're probably going to do more European Handball. Ugh.

Author's Note: We've finally made it to chapter 4! Sorry again for the long wait. If this chapter was too short, I apologize. The next entry (April 29) is super long and eventful, so that's something to look forward to, I guess.
