Hello new journal! I can't believe I'm actually starting a new journal. I've been saving this one for ages and I'm so excited to start writing in it.

Now... my day was actually pretty eventful. All week, Sky and Emma have been telling me to confront John. Literally. All week. Finally today, I decided to do it. I didn't want to just go up to him (he's busy with his own friends and stuff). At first recess, I got Emma to call him over. When he came over, I tried to stall but Emma wouldn't let me. I ended up saying "I need to talk to you. In private" Thankfully, he agreed. So we went to talk and I had to yell at Emma a few times because she was trying to eavesdrop. Finally, she seemed to had stopped after I yelled at her a few times. The fist thing I said was "It seems I can't have a normal conversation without people eavesdropping" I had a whole entire speech planned out, but when it finally came time to say it, I completely forgot everything. Also, I was kind of shaking during the conversation because I was slightly nervous. Eventually I said "Is there a reason you just randomly stopped talking to me?" Of course, John looked like he didn't know what to say. He just said "I don't know" Like, seriously? There has to be a reason! So yeah. After that I had to chase away two of my friends (fake names are Linda and Asa). According to Sky, they couldn't believe that what they were seeing was true (because I never talk to John).

Once I returned, I again said something about not being able to have a normal conversation without people eavesdropping. Next, I started saying how some people have told me stuff he's said about me. I said "Julia told me that you called me a 'Boring Smart Person'" He looked really confused after I said that. Then he said "I never called you that". Also, one of his dumb friends was eavesdropping before John told him to go away. Then I learned that Julia had lied to me. She told me that her and John FaceTimed a lot, but John said that they only called 2 or 3 times, and it was to complain about our teachers. Then the bell rang, ending first recess. Since I hadn't said everything I wanted to say, I asked "Can we continue this conversation at lunch recess?" His response was "Yes, definitely". By the way, I forgot to mention that when we first started talking (today), he said that he's seen all the messages I've sent him. He just didn't bother to reply for some reason.

At lunch recess, I went outside straight to where John and I had talked before. Sky came with me because I wanted to talk to her while I waited. I looked over at the basketball court, and guess what I saw? JOHN playing basketball with his friends. I understand he has a life and all, but we made PLANS. So then I started ranting to Sky about how stupid John was to forget we were supposed to talk. Eventually, Khloé came over and asked what we were doing. Sky and I explained to her what happened at first recess. Then I said that I was supposed to be talking to John. Sky then asked if her and Khloé could throw rocks at him. I said it was fine, as long as they didn't say anything. When they went to throw rocks, I went and stood in the most obvious spot so he would see me and remember we were supposed to talk. When Sky and Khloé returned, I went back to walking back and forth. Then I heard someone call my name.

It was John.

He FINALLY remembered that we were supposed to talk. He then proceeded to apologize for forgetting. I just told him it was fine. Then I said "I have earned to never trust what Julia says". I said that because I felt bad that I accused him of calling me a boring smart person. Then John's younger sister (who is like 5 years younger than us) started watching us. John was like "Oh great. It's my sister". He then motioned for me to follow him somewhere else. The I asked "If you didn't like me texting you so much, why didn't you just tell me to stop?". Of course, he didn't have an answer. Then I started talking about how it annoyed me that whenever we texted, I would always type interesting things or full sentences, and he would respond with "Ok" or "Ya". His excuse was that whenever we texted, he was in the middle of filming a YouTube video and 'forgot' to reply. I didn't quite believe that. Then I forgot what else I wanted to say, so I went on a rant about how my friends annoyed me over Discord. After that, I literally went and told him that I had an entire speech planned out of stuff I wanted to say (stupid), and then I forgot almost all of it. Then I asked "Do you have anything to say since I've done most of the talking?" As I expected, he said no. Then he said "There is something" Then he whispered to me, "Julia told me you like Lucas".

That's it, Julia is officially not a trustworthy person. I told her I liked Lucas to see if she'd tell anyone, and turns out SHE DID!

Anyway, I immediately said "No, Julia is wrong" Then he said "I thought so. I just wanted to make sure". Then he asked, "Is there anything else you want to say?" I stood and thought about it for 10 seconds, then said no. Then he walked off to rejoin his friends.

All in all, I think that was a decent conversation.

Thank God the rest of my class was on the other side of the schoolyard.

Author's Note: Apologies for the long wait to post this chapter! A lot has been going on in my life lately, and I kind of forgot about updating my story. The entries are also going to start getting recent in about two chapters, so I'll probably stop updating for a bit. I just have one more thing. I am going to be starting a new story soon! Thanks a lot to the real life Linda, Sky, Theo, Asa, and Khloé for the idea!

Thank you very much for reading this chapter!
