Chapter 7

Wednesday May 25 2022

Today was Emma's birthday. She had a small party at the park and only invited a few people. I was, of course, invited. Yeah. That's about it. We mainly just hung out and talked like normal humans. Other than that, my life has been pretty miserable lately. I now realize that in this journal, I mainly talk about what happened that day, never my own thoughts and feelings. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I'm afraid that my nosy parents are going to find this. Anyway, I've been hearing more and more people saying rude things about me. Before, it didn't really bother me. Now, it's kind of getting to me. I just feel like I don't have a purpose in life anymore. It's not just at school, it's at home as well. Maybe I would be better off just not existing anymore. I mean, no one would really care. On second thought, that's pretty depressing.

Today we had another meeting at the park. Only Emma and I were there today, so we mostly just talked about life. I told her the full story of my past history with John. She also told me some verrrrrry interesting stuff. SO! Apparently John has been trash talking me behind my back. Emma told me what he said. Here's a list plus my comments:

1) I always put my hair up because I think I'm better than everyone else

**I don't have a choice! My parents make me put it up every day! It's a RULE. Also, I don't think I'm better than anyone. If anything, I think everyone else is better than me.

2) That I just dump my problems on him and text him too much

**I'll admit I do text him a lot, but I didn't know it was annoying. Plus, he could have just told me to stop. It's not that hard. Plus, he always listens when I talk about my problems.

3) That I'm annoying

**Um? I literally asked him over text once if he thought I was annoying and he said no. Maybe he lied when he said that.

4) He also said something rude about all my stationery

**So now there's a problem with owning a lot of notebooks?? I don't see why that's a bad thing. Besides, he shouldn't be talking. John has like the worst handwriting in the class!!

UGH! I AM SO MAD! Now at least I know what he really thinks of me. I've known him for FIVE YEARS and I'm just finding this out now. I also had a soccer game today. There's this really annoying girl on my team. She's a total ball hog and thinks she's the best. She literally kept taking the ball from me! I am so annoyed.

I'm still annoyed at what John said. But... I have some stuff to recap. First of all, since it's June 1st, we didn't have to wear uniforms. We could wear rainbow colours to celebrate pride month. We also had an assembly. Aiden won some sort of award thing. I didn't really pay attention. The real interesting stuff happened at recess. So, my friends were just playing a simple game of wallball. Then all the popular girls joined so Sky and I left. I ended up telling her about what John said because I know I can trust her. I didn't tell her who it was. I just said that someone was trash talking me behind my back. Of course, she started asking me who it was. I just said "I don't want to tell you". Then Theo and Khloé came over as well. Even though I told Sky not to tell anyone, she went and told them. It's fine because the four of us are like close friends. They also proceeded to ask me who it was. I still didn't tell them. Then Khloé said she had info on who all the boys in our class liked. She said she wasn't going to tell me because I wouldn't tell her who was talking bad about me. She literally made me walk away while she told Theo and Sky. I eventually found out because they weren't even being secretive or anything. I also ended up telling Sky that John was the one trash talking me. Then she told me the list. Apparently Lucas likes Eva, Amber, and two other popular girls. Then apparently some other guys like other popular girls (and also Eva). I'm too lazy to give them all fake names right now.

Thursday June 9 2022

This is my last entry in this journal!!! I've been using it for about a year, and it's amazing how I'm finishing it. Today was a great day. I got to skip most of school to go to the track and field meet (yes, I'm on the team even though I didn't want to). We took a bus to the meet and I sat with Emma since she's my only friend on the team. On the way there, we randomly saw a chicken! It was just walking on the grass. It was hilarious but no one believed us when we told them. At the meet, each school set up a tent gazebo thing where we put all our stuff. Then the events started. Emma was literally pacing because she was so nervous. About two hours into the meet, the 4x100m runners for our grade were called. I went over with the three other girls I was running with. They were all popular girls. It was Amber and two of her friends. We ran the relay and came 1st in our heat. Btw, I forgot to mention that I was the first runner. We went to the finals...

AND CAME FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!

After that we got 1st place ribbons. When I wasn't racing, I hung out with Emma and Aiden. Emma and I were doing gymnastics because we were bored. Sadly, we had to go back to school after the meet which was depressing. I didn't have my uniform so I had to sit and do a math package in my track clothes. I also didn't have a pencil. I also finally game Sky her birthday present.

Author's Note: And that is the end of my first diary! I took a long break from updating this for personal reasons but I'm BACK! The next chapter will be the next journal. After about two chapters, it will get really recent so I'll probably stop updating for a bit. I hope you enjoyed and stay tuned for chapter 8!
