It had been two weeks and there was no sign or Harlz. It was as if she had just disappeared. No one, none of the usual contacts and the new once we had made over the last few days would tell us where she was taken. Apparently, there was a new place. Somewhere no one knew about. Someplace we didn't even know if it was real. That's where she had been taken. To a jail that doesn't exist. At first, I didn't want to admit that there could be a place like that. If it was real, it meant we might never find her. But a few days after her other Gotham criminals started going missing. They were arrested and then never seen again. So, either Bats grew a backbone and had started killing us or this magic jail was real. The only question was where the hell was it?

I was looking over a map of Gotham with Frost. We had started sweeping through all the buildings in Gotham. Every abandoned building, every building big enough to hide criminals, every building with underground access starting on the east side and working our way through Gotham had been checked.

I looked at the map with almost every possible place she could be crossed off. There were only two possible places left that she could be. I looked up from the map when I heard J's car speed into the warehouse. I shot up staring in his direction, hoping with everything I had that she would be with him. I watched as he stepped out of the car and slammed the door shut before storming off into another room.

"Cross it off." I told Frost.

"Yes, mam." He said as he did what I said.

I looked back at the map. There was only one more building left to search. I highly doubted she was there, but I had to look. On the off chance that she was there. I needed to find her. It was crazy how much the two of us needed her to function. I need her. He needs her. The two of us are nothing without her.

J had become completely unhinged to the point where I couldn't even stand to be around him. He was a complete maniac, his temper was out of control, he had killed a few people for no reason. His actions had not gone unnoticed to our followers. There had been a few I had to send the Panda after to deal with who tried to jump ship. The thing that upset me the most was I couldn't tell if he was upset about the fact that Harlz was missing or the fact that he had been bested. The one thing that J hated the most was losing. That's what kept him in constant war with Bats. The back and forth needed to come back and win when he lost. He didn't care about Harlz he cared about getting her back and making Bats feel like he was bested again.

"Do you want me to start planning the attack on Wayne Manor?" Frost asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"No." I answered him as I thought about my childhood home.

"If it's too difficult for you I can take care of it." He told me.

"We don't need an invasion." I answered him.

"A small team then?" He questioned.

"That won't be needed. I'm going alone." I answered him.

"I don't think that's a good idea?" He told me.

"Good thing I wasn't asking you." I snapped at him.

I walked into my bedroom to see J lying in the bed on his back. His legs still hung over the side; his arms stretched over his head. His eyes were closed, and he looked whipped out. But so was I and I wasn't lying in bed. I was doing everything I could to find her, and he was sleeping. I walked over to the bed and kicked him in the leg. He shot up and pointed his gun at me. It took him a second to realize who he was pointing his gun at.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? I could have shot you!" He yelled at me.

"Why are you in bed?" I asked him as I slapped his hand and the gun away from me.

"Because I'm fucking tired." He answered as he placed the gun down next to him on the bed.

"And I'm not?" I snapped at him.

"I'm sure you are, Sweet Pea. Why don't you come to bed?" He asked as he grabbed my hand and pulled me to stand in between his legs.

He reaped his arms around my waist and rested his cheek on my stomach as he closed his eyes. I looked down at him and it looked like he was going to fall asleep where he sat.

"I'm leaving." I told him as I pulled out of his grasp.

"Just come to bed." He demanded.

"I'm going to find Harlz." I told him as I walked over to our dresser and pulled out a jacket.

"We have looked everywhere. We have been looking for days. She will still be wherever she is tomorrow. I want to fall asleep with my girlfriend." He told me.

"I want the same thing." I told him as I headed for our door.

I was about to pull it open when J slammed the door closed.

"We're done, she's not in Gotham. Get to bed!" He yelled at me.

I turned to look at him. My blood was starting to boil, I had to stop myself from knocking him on his ass.

"Don't yell at me." I told him sternly.

"Then start listening." He replied.

I had enough and I pushed him back so hard he did land on his ass.

"I don't know who the fuck you think your talking too but it's not me! Harlz may let you get away with talking to her like that but not me! Just because she's not here to yell at and boss around doesn't mean you can boss me around!" I yelled at him.

He shot up from the floor as if he was going to attack me. Which is exactly what he tried to do. He grabbed me by the neck and pushed me back against the door.

"I am the boss!" He yelled at me.

"Not anymore." I replied.

I grabbed his wrist and pulled his arm away from me.

"And if you try that bullshit again, I will break your fucking hand." I told him calmly as I pushed him back and left the room.
