Chapter 26

Frost led us to the freezer where they kept Mr. Freezes shit. I looked over the shiny suit and gun. I almost ran my hand along the gun but decided against it. I don't really like cold things.

"Grab that." I told the baby faced goon considering Frost was carrying Murphy.

He hesitated for a moment before grabbing the suit that was obviously heaver then it looks because he struggled.

The rest of the way to the elevator went by easily. The goat and panda easily killed anyone who got in our way.

"In here." Frost said once the doors to the elevator opened.

We quickly all pilled inside. It was crapped and uncomfortable the eye ball mask was jabbing me in the face but I could not help but twitch with excitement as I knew we were almost there and I would see J again. When the doors opened I practically sprinted out and down to the end of the hall. Everyone yelled as I ran by.

"What's going on?" Ivy asked when she saw me.

But I could not answer. I stood in front of J's cell to see that he was still laying exactly where they had thrown him.

"What's wrong with him?" Eye ball asked.

"They broke him." I answered. "Open the cell." I told Frost who came over and did as I said.

I walked inside and sat down next to him. I picked his head up and rested it in my lap.

"It's gonna be okay." I told him as I pushed his green hair out of his face.

I leaned down bringing my lips to his. I had to fight the urge to kiss him because I had a job to do. I breathed into him hoping it would be enough to heal what they did. I have never dealt with a brain injury before.

He started to stir after a few seconds and I pulled back looking at him. He made eye contact with me and looked confused.

"What happened to your face?" He asked me and I could not help but laugh knowing he would be okay.

I stood up dropping his head to the ground and he stood up after me.

"Its fine, not mine." I told him knowing he was talking about all the blood that was over my face.

He looked around and smiled when he saw his goons.

"Well now it's a party!" He yelled. "Mind helping out here." He said to me as he held out his shackled hands.

"Sure." I said then quickly broke them like I did before.

"That's my girl." He said as he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me into his chest.

My body instantly melted into his and I almost forgot what was going on around me. Luckily the blaring alarms brought me back to reality and I pulled out of his arms.

"I brought presents." I told him.

"For me?" He asked.

"For everyone. Frost." I said.

Frost walked up still carrying Murphy over his shoulder and dropped him to J's feet who stared at him. At first he looked shocked, then angry, then he smiled and I knew he was happy that I saved Murphy for him.

"Let the others out." I told Frost.

"Why?" J asked.

"The more of us there chasin the easer it will be for us to get away." I whispered to him.

Frost opened Ivy's cell first. I walked into my cell and grabbed the seeds from under my bed and handed them to her. She took them eagerly and played with them in your hand.
