His Bet

Chapter Two

I started to panic. Red's still grabbing me making sure I won't run away. Holding me by my back letting me get inside so he can close the door. I saw the green eyed man walk pass between us grabbing a beer and settled himself at the couch.

I was still there standing awkwardly.

"Boys this is Ace. My mate." Red introduced me putting his hand on my small back making me shiver. He doesn't actually do it so it felt strange. So I look up on him giving my what-the-fuck-are-you-doing look. He just shrugged and gave me a wink. So I elbowed him on his stomach. Making him flinch in agony.

Seconds of awkward silence.

They're staring at me intently, gazing at my whole appearance. What? I'm not even wearing slutty clothes so why on earth are they staring at me like peeling me naked? My hands became sweaty with unfamiliar feeling. So I turned to Red and say..

"What the fuck?" Giving the right face from that famous phrase.

I saw their eyes grew wide and then they burst out into fit laughter making the room go crazy. I didn't knew they've heard me so I just stare at them waiting to finish. What's funny?

"You're kidding' right Red? This girl? Your mate? Holy crap. She's somethin' dude." The grumpy one said. Well, he doesn't look like one but I just want to call him the opposite. His eyes were like Red's. Blue and deep. He has cute dimples and charming smile a typical girl would like to see. Typical, typical. Yeah typical girl.

"Her name's Ace and she act like uh.. Somethin.. Are you a lesbian?" The other said. My eyebrows almost met with an ounce of irritation when he said that. Is that what they think I am? A Lesbian? I wasn't and I wont. Instead of voicing that out I stayed silent. Cool down Ace they're Red's brothers. Like Red and the guy with dimples I can see the resemblance of them three and they really look like brothers.

"Well yeah. You got it exactly. This one's really somethin. Sometimes I just wonder if she's really a girl or not because-ow!" Not finishing his statement cause I stepped on his foot. Is he really my friend?

"Maybe I just do the introducing part myself." I muttered to Red. I may not be good at meeting new people but they're putting wrong impressions on me. Whose friend on this earth would forsake his friend? Red. Yes, just only Red.

"I'm Ace and I'm your brother's friend. We're attending the same classes so I guess I'm stuck up with him forever." I said. I'm a nervous wreck. My chest was pounding hard avoiding eye contact with anyone in this room. It will be a lot easier like this, once they already knew me I can get out the hell out of here as quick as possible.

I heard Red chuckle. So he stand by my side introducing his pack of brothers.

"He's Kalvin the oldest of us. Next one is Tristan. Brix's the third kid, the fourth is Chris, the fifth is me and the youngest of us is Simon.

They all gave me a smile and wave. Kalvin seems nice. Is he? He doesn't look like the oldest. Tristan look so serious. You know.. That kind of a guy who's always in the back seat of the room. Chris looks like a bad guy. Not bad as you think like I'm judging him but he looks like the kind of guy that did so many silly things in his life. A tease. The next one, is the green eyed guy. As what I've noticed he's the only one with green eyes. Is he adopted or something? But yeah, he's something different. This one seems intense. I couldn't figure out more because his looks are always impassive. The last one is the one I called grumpy. Simon. He's light faced actually. Easy going guy with a lot of humor. I just wanted to call him the opposite.

To sum it up. They all look fine and handsome?

How do their parents able to produced these kind of man specimen? I'm not usually got easily attracted to a guy but I couldn't deny their fineness. They're handsome as Red. Or with slight differences, or not? I mentally sigh. I'll just leave it like that.
