His Bet

Chapter Thirty One

Ace wouldn't sleep upstairs with the other boys and I understand that. What if she wake up screaming then it will screw everything up because I'm sure they are going to ask about it and when Ace saw so many guys on the room I bet she'll freak out or something but I won't let her sleep alone anyways. She needs someone to help her get back. I alarmed my phone 5:30 so we can head back upstairs and no one will notice that we didn't sleep there. I guess we are going to do this every night. I'm just thinking if I should tell Red about this or not. He has the right to know after all but I don't feel like Red knowing about it. I'll just figure that out later.

There is that little space adjacent to the dirty kitchen. It is just a small narrow space with a small bed. This is the maid's bedroom but for now grandma doesn't have one because we are here so she sent the maid out for vacation.

"This is the only place available here to sleep kitty. Its not kinda presentable than the rooms upstairs. I bet we shouldn't sleep on the living room so.. Here."

"Its okay.. Thanks anyway for letting me sleep here." She sat on the bed and caress the sheets by her hands smoothing it.

"I'll just settle a chair near you so you won't be alone. Get to sleep now its late. Goodnight kitty." I breathed and settle on the single mini couch near her bed. No one will see us here anyway and this place is barely stepped in by grandma or anyone else so this is the best spot I think. Just me and her..

"Night." She replied and settle herself. She tucked under the sheets and curved like a ball. Before I know it I drift off to sleep.

I was awaken by an earth shattering scream I automatically flew my eyes open and search my eyes through the room. It took me a while to remember its Ace who's screaming I shut the door immediately so no one would hear her scream. Rubbing my palm on my face to calm and stay awake I gently walk near her.

"Kitty.. Shhh its me. Its okay its just a dream." I whispered.

She immediately sat up and cornered herself in the intersecting wall of the room. She hugged her knees and keep chanting and murmuring something under her breathe. I noticed that she always do this after her nightmare and I don't know what does this mean.

"Kitty? Can you hear me? Hear me please listen to me. You need to calm down baby. You need to calm down and listen to me. Nod if you understand me kitty please."

She doesn't nod or move aside from sobbing. She cupped her mouth to stop from crying but its not working she also started hiccupping because of crying. Oh heavens.. What did they do to her..

I can't get her attention so I sat on the bed. Maybe she feel the bed dipped so she snapped her eyes on me. Like the other time.. This doesn't look like Ace, her eyes are completely petrified and I saw how disgustingly she look at me.

"Shhh kitty. I'm here no ones going to hurt you I promised. Just listen to me baby.." She doesn't say anything but her tears are racing through her cheeks. She's biting her lip and her jaw is locked. If she continue this her mouth will bleed.

"Kitty you're going to bleed if you don't stop biting your lips. That hurts baby I don't want you to bleed." I whispered. I don't know if she's at least half listening to me but the pressure of her bite suddenly fades I guess she understand me.

"What happened baby?" I asked as gently as I could.

"He.. He.." She started. I know she want to tell me but something's stopping her.

"Shh its okay. He won't be here I promised." As much as I want her to tell me what happened I know this is not the right time I should gotta get her back or she'll panick again.
