I stood on the edge of the area everything was going down in. Like an arena with people shooting from both sides, no one really getting anywhere. Good job I'm coming to save the day. Again. I was just tallying up where people were, taking Lu's jacket off and laying it on the floor. I'll come back for it once I'm done. I'm too warm right now. I nodded once, moving back to where I had been.
"Okay patch them through." I pushed the earpiece further into my ear.
"Mads?"
"Zander, I'm going round the back of them so just be aware. Don't fucking shoot me." He repeated the words to Ethan and I could hear him telling the rest of his men.
"Are you okay?"
"Better than you guys by the looks of it." I smirked. "How are you doing for ammo?"
"Not great." Of course they weren't.
"Okay go easy. Don't let up though just be a little more precise." I stood behind the first row, peeking.
"3 on there." I looked up and could just see him up on one of the containers. I gave a single nod, slowly walking down. I had to do this without any guns. Silent. Unexpected. Less blood this way but I'd have all the glory.
I was hiding in the shadows as it was, waiting for my chance. The opportunity came when one of them came back towards me, looking for the ammo I'd already moved. He stood there looking confused which gave me the perfect chance to slit his throat in the darkness.
"Where the fuck is John with that ammo." Another was walking backwards, away from the other. Now Maddy. I walked up behind him quietly, thanking the lord for soft soled heels. grabbing his head and snapping it swiftly before moving to the third and doing the same. I ran quickly back down the path looking down each one.
"Jesus Ethan be careful that bullet nearly got me." I scowled, talking quietly but raising my arms at him. "Going to be taken out by my cousin. That isn't something I'd expect. Also why are you wearing a fucking shirt and tie. Are you crazy?"
"He said sorry."
"Yeah well he can apologise when I see him." I poked my head around another space. "Okay only two here you guys can handle that. I should hope." I raised my eyebrows and could see them both look at each other, both leaning up simultaneously, shooting the two guys through the head. "WAY YOU GOT ONE. Well done boys." I smirked walking past again. "How many more?"
"This is the last lot Mads, a group."
"How many Z?"
"I think 10." I leaned back against the wall. Shit. That's a lot.
"Mads, Can you hear me baby?"
"Lu?" I furrowed my brow, pulling the gun from my pocket. This was going to be some mission impossible shit. "Hey how's it looking?"
"You're doing so well baby. Listen, I'm coming down to pick you up."
"I don't-"
"You're nearly done. I'll wait until you're finished. Call me okay?"
"Okay."
"Don't get shot."
"I'll try." I chuckled.
"Okay I'll put the boys back on."
"Thanks."
"Mads? Are you back? You vanished for a sec there."
"Yeah I'm here."
"Okay good. Um. We're almost out."
"Fuck sake." I sighed. "Now or never then?"
