He pulled the blanket up over me further, looking down at my phone.
"What are you doing?" I looked up quickly then back down.
"Trying to come up with some designs for the house." He kissed my head. "And no, again, you're not buying it for me."
"Fine." He huffed.
"Watch your film."
It felt kind of weird. Laying here between his legs when Arlo and his friends were sat at the other end of the plane. 7 of us were making this flight today. Me, Lu, Arlo, James, Goon number 2, Z and Tommas. I didn't want to leave Arlo alone with Tommas and everyone. Nor did they want me to be alone with him. This was the only option that everyone was happy with.
Lu had promised that even if he was on here, I didn't need to speak to him, or acknowledge him. Nicky was meeting us at the airport. He was furious about the whole thing. Mainly Arlo for not listening, but me too for not telling him I was down there. He'd get over it though. He had to. I knew he understood it all. Arlo had proved exactly why I needed to move away. It was his son's fault I was moving so far. I'd still be in touch with them, I'll open my doors to them all when they need me to. Arlo included. I'll just be making sure there is always someone with him. Or that I'm not home.
"I need to pee babe." I looked up at him as he slid out from under me. "I won't be long." I nodded, sitting up in the chair. He stared at Arlo who just stared back. No ease in the tension there. If anything it was getting worse.
"Maddy?" I looked up at him as his voice left my mouth. "Can I come sit?" I looked back at Tommas down the far end of the plane, too lost in conversation, but I could shout them if I needed to. I nodded and he stood up, sitting in the chair opposite me. "I'm sorry." I locked my phone, crossing my arms and sitting back in the chair "Don't move in with him. I don't trust him."
"Yeah? Well I don't trust you." He lowered his brows.
"Mads. You can trust me. I'm the only person who ever looks out for you only. Everyone else puts themselves above you. But not me. I love you more than anyone ever could Maddy and I can't stand watching you with him. Come back to me and we can put all of this behind us. We never have to talk about any of it ever again."
"I'm not coming back with you Arlo."
"Maddy-"
"No." I shook my head. "I told you. Over and over again, I told you what I wanted out of a relationship. That we weren't in one. But you being so domineering forcing me to be someone I'm not, telling me what I was doing. That control. I don't like it."
"You-" He sighed, sitting forward in his seat and lowering his voice. "You said you liked being told what to do."
"Yeah when it comes to sex." I looked around, his boys were watching but I don't think they could hear me. "I am my own person. I'm not going to fit in someone else box. And you not listening to me when I told you to stop time and time again Arlo. I could have dealt with everything else. But the dominance didn't just stay where it should have. It took over everything else. And I tried to tell you, warn you to stop it and then you pushed harder. That's why I can't be with you, because I hate you for that now. And it's shit because we were great until that first time we slept together and I had a fucking crush on you. But then you started taking it too far. That's why I left for that month. I hoped that would make you chill out. Then you got worse." I sighed sitting forward in the chair slightly.
"The whole calling me angel thing is a prime example. How many times since I met you have I told you not to call me that?"
"A lot."
"Almost every day. Do you know why I don't like being called angel?" He shook his head and I turned mine as I heard the toilet flush. "Because when I killed my parents that's what my dad kept calling me. Angel, don't be scared. Angel be brave."
"You-" He sat up straight.
"Ask you dad what happened. Go back before you piss Lu off. I've only just calmed him down." He looked at me in shock. I raised an eyebrow and he stood up, moving to his seat as Lu came back.
"Everything okay?" I looked up at Lu, nodding. He got down onto his knees in front of me and I wrapped my arms around his neck loosely. "What did he want?"
"Same thing he always wants. To try get me to be his."
"What did you say?"
"That I'd dump you and run away to Europe with him so we could fuck in every castle ruin in existence." He smirked and I giggled. "I told him he'd fucked his chance."
"He even had a chance?"
"Well yeah." I shrugged. "He'd lost it before I met you though." He nodded.
"We've still got an hour of this flight." He stood up. "Have I showed you the back of the plane?"
"No?" He smirked holding his hand out and I took it, pulling the blanket off my legs slowly and carefully. He walked me past Tommas who just shook his head at us both, grinning as they played cards. He tugged me to move me a little faster, pulling a door open and into the room.
"A bedroom?"
"Yeah." He backed me up against the door, locking it. "Ever had sex in the sky with your ex and uncle just a few feet away?"
"I can't say I have no." I pressed my lips together as he smirked.
"Do you wanna?"
"Now?"
"No next week. I'll book us all a flight specifically for it." I laughed loudly. "Yes now. But you'll need to be a good, quiet girl for me." He slowly took his jacket off me, dropping it to the floor. "I still need to punish you for Friday night."
"Oh yeah." I bit the corner of my lip and he groaned, kissing down my neck.
"On your knees." My eyes went wide. "Now." I smiled as he held my hand, letting me put all my weight on him as I did.
