We were still at Meredith's house. Meredith was in a paper towel dress. Callie was writing vows on Cristina's hand and Izzie was making a paper towel veil while I sat watching them.
"I thought I was gonna hate this party game thing, but it's kinda great. Can we set her on fire after?" Cristina asked.
"No, we cannot," Meredith said.
"Okay, these wedding vows are not all gonna fit on here," Callie said.
"Okay, then write smaller," Cristina said.
"Be still, please. "Vow" just became "cow," Callie said.
"You don't need vows on your hand. When you get up there, just speak from the heart," Izzie said.
"Uh, Izzie, the heart is an organ. It pumps, circulates blood, and it gets clogged from time to time. It does not, however, speak. It doesn't have tiny little lips on it," Cristina said.
"Well, you're all "glass empty," Izzie said.
"I'm gonna like being married. It's the wedding part that's ridiculous," Cristina said. Callie, Meredith and Izzie's pagers went off.
"Oh! Party's over," Izzie said.
"Damn," Callie said. We all rushed outside and I started the car. Callie got in the front with me with Izzie, Cristina and Meredith in the back.

We got to the hospital. I had no scrubs in my locker so I just removed my jacket and tied a trauma gown over my clothes while throwing my hair up out of my face. We entered the pit.
"Okay. Listen up. Uh, O'Malley, you're with Shepherd and Sloan. Stevens, you're with Burke. Karev, Addison. Go. Grey, you are with the chief's wife," Dr Bailey listed off.
"What about us?" I asked.
"Uh, I didn't page you. Go home. Get some sleep," Dr Bailey said to Cristina.
"Yeah, but I'm here already, so..." Cristina said.
"You're getting married in less than 12 hours," Dr Bailey said.
"Well, uh, Burke's getting married, too, and he gets to operate," Cristina argued.
"There's only one Preston Burke," Bailey said.
"There's only one Cristina Yang," Cristina said.
"I've given you the day off, the whole day. It's a kindness. Take it. It's your wedding day. There'll always be more surgeries," Dr Bailey said.
"But--" Cristina tried.
"Really, what would you rather be doing, prepping a patient or prepping for your wedding? Go home," Dr Bailey said. Cristina walked away. "You're back Sloan?"
"I'm back Dr Bailey," I said.
"Addison," Dr Bailey said. I nodded walking off.

Alex had lent me a set of scrubs. Alex and I stood outside the room while Addison was dealing with Adele. Addison walked out and we walked towards the nurses' station.
"The Peds resident on call. He'll be in the OR For Rina's delivery," Alex said.
"Great. Just make sure they notified the NICU," Addison said.
"Already done," I said. A man walked over.
"Hi. Sorry for interrupting. The nurse said you're Dr Montgomery," The man said.
"Yes. Can I help you with something?" Addison asked.
"I'm Jeff Pope Rebecca's husband," The man said.
